Finally have some time to dial in my TT. Been on a vinyl buying spree and now immensely enjoying it. Vinyl is worth the pain & suffering!

^^^If for no other reason than because it's great fun and vinyl releases are often less compressed than their CD counterparts (at least the trashy pop and symphonic metal stuff I listen to).

      Inferior SQ notwithstanding ;)

<sigh> You can, I suppose, have masochism with anything, if you want it. But please remember that, for a long time, it was /the/ prime listening source, and for most of us it was no more painful than occasionally changing a stylus or just-maybe upgrading a cartridge.

Maybe there should be a system like some countries have for bikes. "Learners" should only be allowed to "drive" consumer turntables with few adjustments for, say, six months or a year.

If they still like "vinyl," they pass the test, and can, if they want, move on to more "powerful" machines.

(lol) and, but hey... enjoy whatever it is you enjoy!

I can one-up you. Semi-private (grey) organisations that operate in public functions but have no or little obligation to report to anyone. In NL alone these organisations are a source of many issues. At worst they receive partial funding from the tax-payer. They are fun...

I will not have my finger pricked, but I don't mind them taking a syringe-full from my arm. And I have easy-to-find veins: usually I don't feel a thing. I just scream for the sake of it.

I honestly don't mind her (I'm guessing her since female spiders tend to be MUCH larger than males). Just freaked me out when I suddenly realized that she was about one foot away from my face. I screamed like a bitch.
