I browse on the PC, using Pale Moon browser and uBlock Origin. No ads.

Unbound DNS on my router with the Steven Black List filter and forwarded to Quad9. Zero ads on any device in the whole house for everyone.

Maybe this experience has lit a new fire inside of you.

If you dig around, you can find his website/blog. There he talks about about his life and health. He has a tough situation, ongoing and long-term.

@Slade01 is on point. Asus drive for today- although I have ripped on a bunch over the years and cannot hear any difference. I can, I think, hear a difference as to where it is ripped to, ssd, spinner, or stick, although that may be playback environ effect. Still nothing to worry about.

Turns out iOS silently disabled AdBlock Plus after a recent update…

I recently installed Firefox Focus on my iPhone. In the settings for it you can actually enable an ad blocker for Safari as well. Seems to have worked like a charm for killing those obnoxious ads.

Particularly curious about your AMP-23R-Bliss shootout. Even brief impressions.

@wbass I will be sure to prioritize that. I bought the AMP-23R primarily for speaker use, and use the Bliss as a preamp , so need more headphone time. Both pretty spectacular and leave me perfectly content without tubes. Bliss is a bit more straight ahead (imagine the THX sound if it was actually good; organic and natural, dynamic, and great width/depth/layering) The Enleum is a tad more colored, harmonically rich.

I was better with just one big ad at the top. Now, with one at the bottom as well the top, you scroll right into another big ad.

With sampling being foundational to a lot of music produced in the last 40 years, anything could always be made contemporary again :)
