Walmart selling HE560s for uh, $400 USD. Unauthorized seller though. So buy Walmart's replacement plan.

It's at the "too good to be true" price in my opinion. Careful with these.

Thought I'll give an update to you guys. So, BoPo Tech responded and confirmed that they are brand new and come with 1-year warranty. But, you guys are right; it doesn't seem that the warranty would be recognized by HiFi Man; haven't gotten a confirmation whether it is seller warranty or manufacturer warranty explicitly (although the site says manufacturer warranty).

The item has arrived now, and it is the newer version (and seems brand new), and doesn't seem to have any cosmetic issues as well. Yet, to check whether there are any audio quality issues (waiting on adapter to plug to 3.5 mm jack). Imgur link here

Also, it seems that the extended care plan can be purchased with 30 days of the purchase of the item (return window also 30 days). Still debating internally whether to get them, as I would need to ship them to US, in case of problems (I don't live in US, and the HP's are currently with a friend). But, at least I can get the headphone checked for any problems (Planning to ask friend to run the headphone test through this site; but unfortunately no amp available. But, hopefully with his laptop (has a relatively high-end gaming/mulitmedia laptop), it might just be enough to power the headphones to an audible level to run the test?)

Looks like as long as you don't care about Hifiman warranty and buy the 3 year care plan.

 

Do you know the laptop? I know which ones come with upped headphone jacks if it's a gaming machine. That's my specialty. For the most part the real good stuff are only on high end MSI's and Clevo's though there are some exceptions.

 

Man it'd be nice to buy those at that price but I can't afford it so I guess it doesn't matter

 

HD600 is now $285 on Amazon. IIRC that is price drop from $399 just a while back.

Given the Amazon UK deals on the HD650, there's really no point in my opinion.

 

Well here in the U.S. the cheapest I have seen the Sennheiser HD650 is for $319 so almost a $70.00 difference, I guess it depends on the measurements if they are the same as Sennheiser's HD650's

Of course they bring back one of the hottest items to ever be sold on Massdrop at a higher price.

They will often drop below $300 depending on sales from Amazon UK.

This is cool I guess if you want a 650 in a different color, but have fun waiting until 2018 to receive them.

Amazon UK is $358 shipped to the US, at the moment. Not a good time to be making that purchase.

 

Measurements showed that they were the same, last time. I don't see any reason that would change.
