    Peachy keen! I'd pay top dollar for Hall and Oates, Soundgarden's Superunknown, OK Computer, and MJ's Thriller album if LFF's already worked on those.

    What about overseas?

    I am in favour for a good Chuck Berry remaster or something with Chris Cornell. If you have to make it easy the "Californication" remaster is something I would love to hear.

    Great idea!

    I'm in! Dumb question... are some albums beyond "saving"? If not, then "Californication" would be my choice!

    edited to add that I just noticed Deep Funk's post above... lol

    The stories of LFF's "Californication" remaster started the legend at Changstar.

    By the way I have to get the new "Purple Rain" reissue. Thanks for reminding me...

    Perhaps we should have a rotating queue so the same twenty people don't end up snagging every reissue? Or just higher runs to accommodate the incredible demand for these.

    I actually like @drfindley's idea of a subscription service. That would put money in upfront and give you a guaranteed number of buyers, so you could then press X more beyond that per title.

    Dang. Saw this and the Peter Gabriel offering too late. Maybe I missed it but why only 20 copies? Even if limited to Friends there would be interest for 50-75 easy.

    I've done all of those.

    I'm the only person who has a copy of that. You know how I said some take years....Californication is one of them.

    Then in that case I'll be super excited to purchase it if ever you decide to distribute! An thank you for taking the time to remaster it, I grew up with RHCP that album resonates a lot with me and I'd love to hear... a better master than what's available.

    I hope to be able to attend a meet in Cali at some point in the future so I can get a good listen!

    How exactly can these sales happen? Who owns the rights to this material?

    I've heard of LFF Nat King Cole & Brubeck's Take Five. I'm all about any instrumental jazz material, vocal stuff like Nat King Cole, the Nelson Riddle Frank Sinatra albums, all the female jazz greats like Ella, Vaughn, Simone, June Christy.

    @LFF

    Have you thought about distributing on a pick and choose basis? I'd pay top dollar to see what you have and pick and choose some albums, plus costs for the originals of course to avoid any legal hiccups.
