nothing wrong with flipping, especially if the buyer is getting a better deal than they normally would. Just look at it as an unorganized group buy :)

Pretty sure the vendor will prorate the bundled items in their books, just like many big vendors. Whether you can return some of the items at the prorated price is another story.
So, you can argue they are not free, and thus not flipping. But then you use their forum, you agreed to their rules so...

This is a great album that is 50% off right now. Franklin used King Curtis's rhythm section for this show featuring Bernard Purdie on drums and Jerry Jemmott on bass. That is what makes the album IMO. Also, King Curtis Live at the Filmore West is an album worth keeping an eye out for

Here's the rest of their 50% off albums. The Flaming Lips album has pretty good SQ if I recall. Some Steely Dan, James Taylor, Deep Purple, etc..

Optoma Nuforce STA-200 is currently selling for $499 at Audio Advisor and Amazon.
Used to be sold $1299 so quite a discount: looks like a closeout price.
This amp is NOT class D like other not so great Nuforce / Nuprime amp designs.
The STA-200 is based on a Goldmund design and adapted from the Job 225 amplifier.
Maybe someone here might be interested to compare this to Vidar or other affordable amps.
I'd take the plunge myself if not for the fact that I'm based out of EU.

Could anybody comment on how well the STA200 may drive 4 ohm speakers with sensitivity of 86 dB/w? I cannot find any information on this. I do not listen at very loud levels. Thanks.

The STA200 is rated at 80W into 8 ohms. I don't know if it doubles at 4 ohms, so let's just say it can't and leave it at 80W at 4 ohms, and in fact let's drop it down further to 64W for the sake of math.

Your speakers produce 86 dB at 1W. Every doubling of power gives you +3dB.
    2^6 = 64
    so you've got 6 doublings
    that's +18dB

Running conservatively, that puts your speakers at 104dB.
    I think you'll be fine.

Thanks for the calculation about amplification. Besides this, my concern is safety. If the nominal impedance is 4 Ohm, minimal impdedance could be as low as 3 Ohm which is further off the 8 Ohm load. The fact that there is no specification at all with STA-200 output to 4 Ohm raises my concern that it may not safely supply adequate current for driving 4 Ohm speakers.

Assume 15dB headroom for transient peaks. Listening volume of 89dB.

That guy has been selling used Sennheiser stuff for a while now, and by all accounts is legit. Some kind of refurbisher or something. Usually has some good deals on 600/650/800 especially if you don't need a cable

Yeah, this seller (and their associated Reddit account) is legitimate. No need to worry, they sell their items on Reddit to save on eBay fees.

I didn't read the Reddit post closely enough. I didn't realize that people sold stuff on Reddit and was confused why he didn't include the ebay links.
