I'm guessing that you are not interested in the Sol either, @bengo .

"I noticed on the PC board you’re calling this Loki Mini. Are there other Lokis coming?

Come on, now, you know we don’t discuss future products. However, we’re always open to expanding the line in meaningful ways if this model does well—including coming up with a family of Lokis with different capabilities and at different price points. After all, Loki is a trickster, ever-changing."

But how does this help? I like the picture, but you won't be able to see the marks I drew on my computer monitor...

    :p

Edit: Note to self - use dry-erase markers next time.

Yeah. Or just: 9/3/2/2 to simplify further.

(Edit: Fixed my shorthand. I can't tell time apparently.)

I think these sheets are over kill for a 4-band EQ, but if Schiit were to release a 9-band EQ then they would probably be a necessity.

I like the sheets! I don't know about anyone else, but I would not be able to remember exact settings for various headphones and speakers. Depending on tubes sets used, settings would changes as well. There could be dozens of combinations.

In the studio we create recall sheets for every analog device. When a mix or master is considered finished, all digital settings are saved to config files and all analog devices employed have a recall sheet filled in documenting the mix / master. If the song ever needs to be adjusted again, one can quickly configure the studio / mastering room per the recall sheets and config files.

For those wanting a bit more in the EQ department I suggest having a look at this: https://www.massenburg.com/products/gml-8200

However be prepared for the 6K+ price tag as well as the cost of the outboard power supply.

Beautiful. I could look at it all day!

I still remember the day I bought my first tone-control-less amplifier as a bad day. Of course, I didn't think so at the time.

I also remember the only home-audio amplifier with a control I had difficulty understanding: Quad's "Tilt" thingy. That belonged to a friend's father, and was probably old before I started even thinking about the word (But I think the friend's brother had all his Dad's Quad electronics completely refurbished and still uses them)

Have you ever used one the the White Instruments 4000 series? I think they're a lot cheaper than the Massenburg, but they seemed fairly well constructed.

No, I haven't had the privilege of using one of those. Most of my needs have been PEQ oriented. I tend to favor a Z-sys zq2 as I almost always have some part of the audio path in the digital domain: http://www.z-sys.com/pp_2ch.html.

It might be useful for sharing settings if the Loki had numbered dot markers around each adjustment knob.

Too much data on the recall sheet. I'd have to configure it for speakers using a mic to measure to get a flattish response, and headphones, snipped from those of you who measure headphones. Let the song speak for itself.Sitting on the fence. Should go a long way solve my picoreplayer/502dac room correction software problem, none available.

@atomicbob nice type up @bilboda there's never such a thing as to much data, especially when it's well organized

Additionally @Riotvan suggests, I've always Screen Shotted and saved my Digital EQ settings so I can refer back to them. I've got screen caps for my different Blu Tooth Speakers and my Car, as well as EQ's for different genres as needed.
