Not the best hi-fi tree huggin' alt acoustic stuff, but it truly was what I was listening to today.

So let's see what flannel and Doc Martin stuff you throwing down? But anything 90's is fair game.

I know everyone loves RATM's first album, but I prefer their second. It feels more open, live, and explosive. Producer Brendan O'Brian was killing it.

Ok, apparently I'm not making many friends in this thread. Pretty lonely in here. I guess the 90's aren't known for hi-fi and not nostalgic yet.

Anyways, here one you may not have heard of. One of my absoloute favs and I great guy I got to meet more than one occasion. Owsley.

Recorded in 1999 and nominated for Best Produced Album that year.

This acoustic version wasn't made available until 2000, but the original version of "Mayonaise" appeared on Siamese Dream (1993). So it should count. Posting the acoustic since it's likely less heard.

Was chatting with @Ringingears, and he mentioned this album. One of the first I ever bought; still good.

    Still love this album.

And her vocals on "Before These Crowded Streets" still get me every time.

The fact that she dated Joey from Full House, though. I still can't get over it.

I love this album and seriously Weezer's best album by far. I recently got the Deluxe addition with many more songs from these sessions. A good score that I never new existed. And the Radio Edits are even better mixes.

Holy shit, that might be the most Euro-90s thing I've ever seen seen. I wish we could still dress like that. Sick jam.

    And for the come down...

(This is a criminally neglected album. Everyone remembers "6 Underground". But "Post-Modern Sleaze", "Wasted Early Sunday Morning", "Waterbaby", "Walking Zero" etc? IMHO, Becoming X rivals Portishead's Dummy and Massive Attack's Mezzanine as the popular seminal trip-hop album. It certainly didn't help the Sneaker Pimps' legacy that they booted Kelli Ali following this album.)

Just heard Mary Timony perform the songs of Helium live at the Troubadour in Hollywood. She and the band put on a great show. They’re playing next in Portland on Monday.

Talking about listening to 90s stuff.. I found a Forsell Air Reference DA. I remember you talking about it on your site. I can see why you held it in such high standing!
