I’ve found a particular amount of toe-in gave me my preferred imaging and soundstage, so I don’t know if I want to play with it too much more for treble adjustments. Good point, though.

Thanks, everyone, for your replies so far. It reminds me why I love this place.

You can always do it the @purr1n way and put some toilet paper in front of the tweeter. Also works on HD800, I've tried it. Lol.

On a more physiological level excessive amounts of treble often give the illusion of better imaging and soundstage, it could be worth changing the toe-in and letting your brain re-calibrate itself over a week or so.

Hm, okay, I’ll try a little less toe-in. Thanks!

I don't know your Pranafidelity Bhava speaker well. Are there any dampening opportunities for your tweeters?

Sorry, I don’t know what you mean by that.

On the back there’s a switch for a gentle -2dB high frequency roll-off but it’s not quite enough.

Can you get inside the box? ...without doing damage of course.

I can remove the tweeters/woofers pretty easily.

Have you considered contacting Steven (at PranaFidelity) for his opinion on how to address your issue? Everything I've heard indicates that he's usually helpful.

He’s been great to me ever since I bought them.
    - He’s sent me expensive cables to try just because he had extras
    - He’s helped me position my speakers and treat my room
    - When I told him bass was booming out of the left front corner of my room he shipped me a custom length bass port for the left speaker to mitigate the problem
    - When I emailed him today about this amp he asked me to send him the schematic of it so he could take a look at it and tell me what bits I could replace to improve sonics.

Once again he sounds like a great guy/resource. What's the method for the roll-off switch? If it just alters the resistance in the crossover, have you brought up possibly altering the value?

When it sounded fine with the M-22 for mid-highs, perhaps you could ask for another set of binding posts for your speaker.
Shouldn't be a difficult add on.
I spot a possible variation of these as midwoofers: link
Tweeters don't look familiar to me, are these alu domes?

    They’re soft domes.

I can help with get rid of treble. You put Russian capacitors in careful signal location. Problem it might get rid of bass too, so you try and have to decide.
