Well, I'm the guy who runs this site and produced many of the headphone measurements here. As far as my background, I am simply a random dude: last time I checked, I bled when I was cut. You can look up my my RL credentials on LinkedIn. I'll leave it up to you to find out who I am. It's a poorly kept secret. And yes, I did run an LH Labs sponsored meet a few years ago in Monrovia, CA, and I invited Larry to SBAF !CanJam two Novembers ago.

Did you change your user name at some point recently? If so, no wonder I didn't recognize you. I'll see if I can put you on the list.

I've always wondered who this purr1n guy is... Hopefully we can get this sorted as I'm quite sure not many know much about him.

    Mcpurr1n!!!

All kidding aside. Is this thing actually being worked on? Or are you guys just posting random updates, stalling further in hopes that people will not be able to sue due to statute of limitations? I get the whole crowd funding concept, but just because kickstarter says that there is no guarantees of products being delivered, and whatever other caveats they state, that does not mean that people can not sue. Especially if a company has taken money from backers, and said company has willfully and wantonly deceived, defrauded, etc., backers, while diverting funds from one company, to another company that is solvent, to hide funds, because they can't deliver the product, or financially at this point it doesn't make sense to. Plus, from what little I do know, these companies are owned by the same individual...who has co-mingled funds between the 2 companies.

That's a pretty clear paper trail to me. I don't know...just seems so unbelievable that after all of these years, still no device, but random updates, adding new features every so often, which in turn leads to more inevitable delays. Not sure what the statute of limitations is for something like this, but I'd bet 3-7 years, and 5 sounds like a sweet spot. Not sure how far they are from 5 years, if that is the number, but if there is no litigation started, basically backers will be SOL...unless they can prove fraud (with intent), which I believe will extend the statute of limitations. Fraud is very hard to prove though, but if it is proved, Larry will no longer be protected by the corporate veil, and the backers can go after him personally (plus others in said company). Or, I could just be a conspiracy theory lunatic at this precise moment.

Not trying to offend anyone either from this board, so my apologies in advance if I said anything out of line or offensive. I'm just honestly perplexed by this entire thing and trying to understand it. They could actually be trying to deliver the Wave... But with so many blatant lies and such misleading and deception, it's very hard to believe they are trying to do right.

    LOL
@LHCommSquad Keep in mind that he's asking for a real, functioning unit, not a picture of a half finished board ;)

Larry knows who he is. I literally have told him 1000 times to send stuff to Marv first if he wants an actual review or advice before tuning is final.

The Wave is a dual operating system; Android for Tidal and other streaming service/functionality and the original custom OS for Pure Music mode. I'll post more information when available.

Another 23 days of nothing. Another month-or-two stretch without progress doesn't seem like a big deal in the long view, right? Well, you string together enough of them and you have a year.
