I know 1/2 dozen folk with these and have 2 in the house - no issues what-so-ever, given that and the exceptional sound these things generate, I would never recommend any other product..dB

Their website seems perpetually out of stock, and the Turbo X's on Amazon are used without batteries. Seems like they are pushing people towards the Wand.

I'm not quite sure their customer service reps know how to read either:

I've been super curious about the Helsinki, but the prices are nuts here in NA. There's a seller on ebay, but he seems sketchy because he's also sold a bunch with known issues, no batteries, no chargers... like is he getting a ton of grey market/damaged goods and peddling them out? Then the few from different sellers pop up but I think they all came from the same guy and they're all feeling duped and trying to flip.

So my ebay Riva seems to have no output above 7kHz... has anyone ever experienced a blown tweeter? or maybe it's a crossover or dsp thing gone bad? :(

(yes I know, gambled on ebay and lost, just trying to make the best of a stupid situation now)

Don't buy it then. Don't be a retard hoping you can score a great deal buying from one of those fishy third-party Amazon dealers who are selling them without properly functioning parts and then score a battery for cheap.

I heard one closely after it came to the market (several years ago already?).
I remember thinking: ''better sound than cheap studio monitors''.
Certainly impressive performance for the form factor.
Worked best indoors with wooden walls.

I think you missed the part where it isn't available for purchase on their website. This has nothing to do with "scoring a deal" but rather the availability of said product. It's been out of stock for months. Did you skim over my initial post perhaps that explicitly mentioned that?

Today is not your day. We are under zero tolerance rules.

Today and likely in the near future we don't have any patience for statements like: "I think you missed the part..." and "Did you skim over my initial post..."

Under current rules these types of statements, whatever the context maybe, will very likely earn you a permanent ban from this site. Specially if you are new and we don't know you.

I understand this can be very frustrating. But such is the current state of affairs. Bad timing.

I think the part I am not clear on is the expectation that a discontinued product should be in stock at all.

The fire sale and awesome deals were to clear out remnant stock which I personally took full advantage of and am more the happier for it.

Anyone know if you can turn off the flashing green Bluetooth light of the Riva Turbo X when using an aux connection?
