*EDIT* I will in fact pay YOU to take this thing off my hands! I realized how much a sledge hammer costs, so I can probably ship this thing to you for less than the cost of a sledge hammer. I expect someone who takes this from me will be in the USA, they will be a Contributor or Friend, or at least have garnered a Like to dislike ratio somewhere around 4:1.

I have a Geek Pulse single ended, vanilla version, which has turned into the Hot Garbage edition. That is to say it DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. It will power on when cold for about 30 minutes and work fine. I just plugged it in for the first time in over a year and I forgot how much I actually enjoyed using this thing. Sadly, it will power off on its own after about 30 minutes of use. When this occurs, I can hear a relay click and the unit will briefly power off then back on. This behavior continues indefinitely once it starts. I have tried with several other power supplies.

As best I can tell, there may be some sort of relay that has failed. I have looked at the PCB but I never bothered to do any trouble shooting. First glance says there are no obvious failure points. If you would like to try to troubleshoot the catastrophic failure, *edit* Scratch that! I will pay for shipping by USPS so that you can play with this thing and let me know if you were able to fix it!

To reiterate, this Geek Pulse Vanilla DOES NOT WORK. The hardware failure makes it unusable in any reasonable capacity. This is for anyone who wants to try their hand at identifying and fixing the problem.

If nobody wants it I am going to buy a sledge hammer and smash it.

I second this. We'd love to see the crushing vid, but I also understand the desire to want to see it fixed if only to appease your curiosity.

Does it flash “PC Load Letter” when you try to use it?

If you are not in a hurry, I can bypass the pesky relay for you. Assuming it is there to detect offset, will make sure offset is stable too.

Edit: I don't particularly want it for myself though, so if you don't want it back, send it to someone else

I can take care of it in epic fashion in about 2 weeks, via 7.62x51 NATO.

Might be fun to debug it... I could give it a shot lol-- need to think of a good way to destroy it though :D

Edit: knew I posted this somewhere, tie it on top of this anvil:

@Mdkaler was the first to PM and ask for it. He gets it.

Thanks @Greg121986. Will definitely smash it and post pictures if I can't find out the cause.
