F1.4 makes your pet pop out of the picture at you.

I know I've posted him before, but I just love spending time with my brothers doggo, Scout. He mostly just looks for food and cuddles tbh. I've always been a huge animal person, but this is the first time I've had a bond with a doggo like this. I care about him just as much as my family, because he is family, I guess.

    :)

I like the look of cropped ears, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it just for cosmetic reasons.

And f1.4 in lower light makes for wide open pupils and that big-eyed-adorable-kitten look!

I hate the idea of chopping bits off animals just because people think it looks better. Amazing that it went on for so long in a place like my mother country, England, where animals are god!

I don't like that my kitten has a clipped ear, but it is a signal that, to local animal charities and other well-meaning folk, means this animal has been neutered.

By the way, she is over a year old, and practically full-grown, but I guess she's always going to be my kitten!

Well, Lola is still kicking. This is her on my lap at my parents house last weekend, she's 20 years old now. I remember when she was a tiny little kitten, then she was a big chunker for most of her life, and now she is tiny again.

Good for Lola. May she live another decade! It is possible!
I forgot to say that your f1.4 picture is great!
I'm not telling her that she got 11 14(!) likes. She has more than enough self-confidence already!

That's funny as hell! They do say that pets and owners do tend to look alike. Good catch!

Wouldn't that be ironic if the cat's name was actually F1.4?

So this is Stevie (Like Stevie Nicks), and she just arrived at our home. She's an adorably tiny beagle, that has just graduated from SUNY Delhi Veterinary College. After losing our two first beagles in less then a year, it was time to adopt again. Far too many beagles need homes...

    UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_d65.jpg

Rosie wants to make sure y'all know that ButtUglyJeff is a Stevie "shill and softie". She wants to point out that Stevie didn't actually graduate, and you don't get a degree from Delhi just being a "practice patient" for kids learning to be vet techs and veterinarians. She also thinks things were fine at the ButtUgly residence, and we didn't need another beagle just now...

...I just think she's a little butt hurt.

Tell her to start a thread! It'll run and run ;)

Or better still, just make sure she gets some extra love and attention. I expect she's insisting on that anyway.

    Lovely dogs!

Not sure where to ask this question to get it in front of the right people, but here goes: can anyone recommend an automatic feeder for cats that they like? Priorities are: reliability, programmable for multiple meals and food amounts, and works (or can be modified to work) for 2 cats. Internet connected bells and whistles are not essential.

I had a feeder that worked great for 7 years but just crapped out.
