HIS LITTLE BOWTIE IS ADORABLE. I actually made a weird noise when I saw the photo cuz he's so cute :))

Forgot that I'd meant to post this. Wish I could say the composition of the shot was deliberate but I actually just snapped a photo from the hip on full auto, which would explain the weird image processing and the bad focus. Ah well, still happy with the photo.

What a good looking boy! Love the wide head of the English style retrievers.

@Lyer25: So you were saying about Siamese? As a kitten, he's already challenging the top cat in the house. He is violently insane.

Becquerel had to be operated last thursday because of foreign object in her lower intestine. The operation went fine, but after she came home she turned apathetic, did not eat and didn't want to be touched. She was taken back to the hospital for observation and we were told she was ready to be picked up the next morning. 30 minutes later the doctor called, she had turned for the worse extremely fast and her little heart had made it's last beat.

She was the most social, happy and energetic little cat I have known and the sadness is unbearable at the moment. She gave us two years of the happiest memories, but it's difficult to conceive that she'll never be purring on my lap again.

Give your cats a big hug for me. Unless they don't like that, then a respectful nod is fine.

She did, she got along great with everyone, humans and her cat big brothers alike. Likewise she was loved by her servants.

    Thank you for your condolences.

@TurbinoZ100000 so sorry to hear of your furry friend's passing. Really tough when both so young and it happens unpredictably quick.

@TurbinoZ100000, so sorry for the loss of your friend. Especially distressing when medical treatment seems to be going well but, for some reason, they just don't recover.

I beiieve this was the most crushing element of it, the eventual false hope. That there was no chance to say a proper goodbye or prepare in any way. It's getting better, but the house still feels colder and emptier than last week.

Edit: I'm bumming the f**k out of this thread aren't i?
