    Since this is a high-value item, only people who have a history. Friends, Contributors, or otherwise. Either need to be good at reviews or have a genuine interest. I mostly don't care about gear, but for this one, I will hunt you down in my Tardis and throw you into the Phantom Zone if you are responsible for losing it. Limited to first 6 people, maybe more.

    Oh, I am in. Fort Worth.

    And "Verite that out-Verites the Verite" really stimulates my curiosity. Indeed Marv is not the first guy to argue so. My acoustic understanding is that closed cans generally introduce more compromises if drivers being equal. And short auditions of HD820 and Stellia were in line with it -- 820 couldn't out-800 800, Stellia couldn't out-utopia utopia. So, I am 33% curious 33% doubting and 34% looking forward to some sort of unbelievable black magic. lol

    Will provide the hybrid pads when they are done for the tour as well. They are kind of the equivalent of the verite pads for the open version I guess, more dry.

    Just throwing this out there, I have a review unit Verite Closed right now and I live in San Diego. If anyone out here, or even Orange County wants to hear these, get in touch. I'm happy to find a way to meet up for a mini-meet or something. I might even be swayed to come up toward LA since I have friends/family out that way too. I would love to let others get a chance to hear this headphone. I should also mention I have every other ZMF dynamic (except Eikon) in my possession in case you guys want to hear those too. Could be our own little ZMFestivus!

    Dang, I was in SD earlier this week!

    Quite the collection you have. By chance are you familiar with Mr. Speaker's Ether C? (also a good SD brand) Curious about the Ether C (which is the HP I use the most) against the Verite C. Cheers

    Not sure if it would be helpful to you for comparison purposes, but I actually have a Padauk Eikon I was getting ready to sell (upgraded to a camphor burl eikon, couldn't pass up that gorgeous wood) that I would be happy to send your way as a loaner first.
