I have a long-haired Tabby+white who is also overweight. She was ball-shaped obese, but we managed to at least get her back to cat shape.

My wife calls her Gunda Poonai. It's Tamil for Fat Cat, but sounds better!

Brilliant. That last pic is absolutely surreal. Or... painful?

@Thad E Ginathom Nice, bruv! ... ... ... Wait, WHAT??? WHAT DO U MEAN OBESE ARGH GRUMBLE GRUMBLE, He is big boned and big furred... :D Srsly, tho, Shnuppy is legit tall, he stretches and reaches all the way to the keyhole and rattles the keys when he wants to go for a walk. He sniffs and bites the plants inbetween the staircase levels alongside the elevator shaft, desperate for a microdose of DMT... Acacia has DMT in it, right? He comes back when he bored or when he hears me rushingly fetching him.

Well, apologies to Shnuppy then!

    Silky is, unfortunately, simply fat.

I tried to put it down to post-birthing/breast-feeding figure loss, which is not unusual for females, but when she became globe-shaped, I took her to vet to check it was nothing more serious than fat. Diagnosis: obese. Seriously obese. Dieting followed.

On a recent visit for cat-fight bites, I found she had lost 200 grams. That didn't sound much to me, but the vet pointed out that it was 5% of her body weight and definitely an achievement. So now she is just fat.

As much as I love dogs, i'd only get a dog if I lived in a house with a garden. Cba to pick up shit 365+ times per year.

Actually it's well known that dogs drool (especially Newfies and other big jowl pups) not so with cats. Cats actually were worshiped in ancient Egypt, sooooo....Cats rule(d) and dogs drool.

    I hope that was helpful.

    :)~

Minor inconvenience. However having to remove the cat shit from my front yard is getting old fast. Too many outdoor cats here, I've tried everything but nothing works.
Pfff your use of facts has no effect on me!

    Cats, actually, don't drool.

I'd only get a dog if... no, wait, I wouldn't get a dog. I wouldn't get a cat, either: they came and got me.

For those of you who like internet memes... This one speaks to me because it actually happened to one of my cats (and to my wallet).

Two and a half dollars for a giant turd seems reasonable. I'm confused: I thought USA used comma for thousands and dot for decimal point? If this is a mainland-Europe dot, for thousands, then... That's bloody expensive constipation

Look at the BARF diet for your cat or dog. Search " Billinghurst barf diet " Feed your pet like a Zoo would to maximize health and well-being. It works.

We have Otis back for a while. He loves looking out the front window at the wildlife across the street, watching for deer and birds.
