While there was a forced pause in the production of the SW51 amplifier, I made several "Bachelor" amplifiers

Now I can offer these amplifiers to respected users.
I now have two 220V version amplifiers and one 115V version amplifier.

    Appearance of the amplifier:

    - THD <0.03%
    - Rout (H) =7 Ohm
    - Rout (L) =2.5 Ohm

A wild amp has appeared. And someone got the 115v. People need to bite and show the world how it sounds.

I have one to test, and have done some listening, but just haven't had time to really dedicate to it yet.

But if I had to go with gut feeling based on what little listening I have been able to do, I'd say it's sorta in-between the SW51 and ZDT Jr. A bit more U-shaped than those. Still has some of that ZDT Jr bass bloom to it, but is generally a bit sharper sounding. Smaller stage and more forward than either of the other two.

    Small update.
I converted one amp to AC115V.
Currently there are one amplifier on AC115V and one on AC230V

    Hi Zampotech,

could you please post physical dimensions of the Bachelor amp (width and depth).

Would it be possible to get the knob from the SW51 on this (against money of course). The eye listens as well :)

In theory I am looking for an amp with pre out for my active desktop speakers. Do you think using a split cable before the amp is a reasonable alternative?

    Thans for your feedback,
    sonofsin

    No problems.
    Front size (width) =130 mm
    Front depth (length) =185 mm
    Height = 105 mm

dimensions are shown without taking into account protruding parts (legs, connectors, knobs).

You can, but only a new sample (which looks like a gear)

This is technically possible if you use a 1/4 Jack->2RCA cable. But I don't think it will look very nice.

Now I am developing a silent relay attenuator with a depth of adjustment of 96 dB and a memory effect.
Components for the SW51 have started to arrive, so we have to deal with the development in pauses.
