Here´s some old pictures from my dedicated room I used some years ago, first my Tannoy Compaqt Monitor. I guess compaqt is relative by Tannoy standards :punk:

Then a later version of JBL 4430, really nice

Amps are 6C33 parallell single end amps and a NAD integrated

Switched stands. Sounds different. Further investigation in process. The Kitchen sounds AMAZING with the different stands and position of the stereo subs.

All audio gear sounds great when it know that the listener keeps an axe by their right hand. It wouldn't dare do otherwise!

Speakers sounded like shit in the shrine. Moved them onto my dresser, covered shrine with Japanese doorway hanging (yes I know it's crooked). Sounding pretty nice, it's nice to relax on my bed and listen to these speakers.

new toy in the left corner. (PrimaLuna EVO 400)
There are also 2 Vidars in there now too - for center/sr/sl. (the little white dots on the bottom left in the AV cabinet.)

how is it? i'm not sure. It is much better than using the denon x8500h as the amp.. but i'm waiting for a new Dac and some new tubes. It is HEAVY!
(*yes, it is on a subwoofer.. i don't have room. It is a sealed woofer (doesn't move). I also put it on isoacoustics Orea isolation feet under it too.)

Looks beautiful, as does the room... but aren't you pumping some of the sound into those two sofas?

Some, though with an OB it's not as big a deal as it might be. I mostly use the PAPs for listening non-critically. I move the couches when i'm being serious.

Nah, that's in the theater room/aka my main setup:

    Home Theater setup:
    Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 System
Legacy Audio Focus SE Left & Right Channels
Legacy Audio Marquis HD Center Channel
Legacy Audio Silhouette PRO L&R Surrounds
Legacy Audio Phantom HD Rear Surrounds
    KEF CI200RR Atmos Overheads (x4)
Seaton Sound SubMersive HP+ and Slave, F2+ Subwoofers (4000W per sub)
    Anthem AVM-60 Preamp/Processor
    Oppo UDP-203 UHD Blu-ray player
    D-Sonic M3a-6100-7 Class D Amplifier (1500W for L,C,R, 400W for surrounds and rears)
    D-Sonic M3a-2000-5 Class D Amplifier (Atmos Channels)
    Sony VPL-VW675ES 4K Projector
    110" Monoprice 1.0 gain screen
Fractal Design Node202 based HTPC running Kodi & Roon
    MSR & GIK Acoustic Treatments

Here's a shot of the front channels/screen (with image from a dark room pasted on):

Here's my projector on a ghetto rigged tile shelf - since I didn't want to build a hushbox given how often I swap gear. You can see the Phantom HD rear surrounds and one of the Atmos channels, as well as the top of my 2nd sub in this shot:

That is quite a systems you have there...Guess compression is not really an issue with that sensitivity and power available.
You have any idea what modules the D-Sonics use?

The D-Sonics all use Pascal modules - but there are two different modules in use. The modules driving my main channels (L,R in the office, LCR in HT) are the X-PRO-3, which sound really good: https://www.pascal-audio.com/product/x-pro3/

Finally got the speakers away the wall/, 2 feet if front of the monitor.
Stage goes all the way back to the monitor and to the walls above and to the sides and way outside of the speakers with good elevation range, very spacious but focused sound

Found a better spot for my subs. They don't like the suspended wooden floor so higher is better, anyway built some stands for the new setup. Used two pairs of BW stav24 stands of which i already had one set to use as beams. The subs are now 1/4 from the side and 1/3 from the floor and sound amazing. Crossover is at 100hz which is fine since they are close to the mains. Don't mind the cables it's very much work in progress.

@Riotvan sweet setup and those stands look great! What Questeds and subs are those? What kind of room treatment do you have? I like the silver finish of the speakers.

The mains are the S7R MK3's in the rarer silver white finish(they tried it for a bit then went back to black). The subs are BK XLS200-FF's with Peerless woofers, they used to be or still are an oem for Rel.

Treatment wise the sides and ceiling are treated and there are superchunks in the corners. I'm in the process of remaking the sides and superchunks with some new fabric from Camira cara like they use at GIK. I'm very happy with the sound it's just making it look nice atm and the stands were the first step. Previously i had dark concrete blocks then i changed to a horizontal setup with an even more janky look of different stands so i decided to make something nice.
