    ScanSpeak D2095/9900 Tweeters. ($75 for the pair). SOLD/ Light waveguide. Some domes have been pressed in a bit here and there by fingers, but otherwise sounds fine. New are $228 each.

    MTM cabinet that will fit above tweeters. Free. The woofer cutouts will take the 5" Seas (small gap that can be covered) or 5" Scan-Speak mid-woofers. Front baffle is doubled up. Some minor refinishing and these cabs are beautiful. Otherwise into the dumpster they go.

    EC Development Amp (leading to Studio) $2500 local pickup only - SBAF people only.
    This amp has Monolith interstages and Lundahl double C-core outputs. The power supply has a separate heater switch so Mercury Vapor tubes can be used. Currently I have the Xenons that glow purple, but i will give you all my rectifier tubes. This amp takes 45 tubes. No feedback. Tonally, it's more like Rag 1 or McIntosh MHA150, so better for neutral or dark headphones. Since it's a development amp, internal wiring is messier than usual and cutouts for the Monoliths on the top are a hack job. #2 line input is not working (wire needs resoldering). This is a Studio class amp.

    STAX SR007mk2.5 (RIGHT SIDE LOWER OUTPUT) ($150 shipped) SOLD
    I tried messing with the R side applying a thin layer of soapy suds and this worked. However, I found that reapplication was necessary over time. So consider the R channel hosed. I asked Yamas that shit STAX repair place in the USA how much for fix, and they replied $2000+. That was years ago, the STAX policy may be better today. At the very least, the pads and frame and good and very cool for a DIY headphone. Could be a great deal if you can get them fixed for less.

    You'll have great choice of cities if you want to move over here or even out to the country. If you want scenery like Cali = Austin. It's a great place since they have hills with Dallas coming up close. Houston is just plain flat but if you're into food, pubs, and drinks it's the place to be. Dallas is nice but I'd rather live in Austin. On the other hand, the job market in Dallas is really strong.

    Take a little floor detergent and dilute it about 5x, maybe even 10x (if you don't want to mess with the L side). Have found that dilution makes it louder and much more stable (less reapplication needed).

    Worst cas, the mainboard needs repair and Burl charges ~$800 for it.
    Best cast, they can try to repair the board. $75/hour. SMD parts are free.
