FS: Raal SR1a + Jot R combo

Selling the pair I bought from @Gaspasser 2 weeks ago.
Used exactly twice since receiving it (was waiting for the Radial Twin-ISO to re-evaluate, today).

Decided to stay with the Utopia + T4 combo

Just a friendly tip, but before you decide to sell the combo, try it with the Jot R's baffle compensation switch OFF. I had once put up the exact combo for sale, but withdrew it after finding out what a difference it makes. I know doing so kills the sub-bass, but vastly improves the sound in many ways that it was an acceptable trade-off for me.

 

I tried that, to me it sounds horrible this way

No way of auditioning ANYTHING in a small town in Spain with or without COVID.

So we buy and sell as that's the only way to try.

Just curious @Clemmaster @Gaspasser - did you guys run the Raals alone or in conjunction with a subwoofer?

 

On its own.
I do have an Airmotiv 10 sub right next to my bed that I thought about using, but I'm too lazy to wire it up...
I might let go of it too, as it's been used as a night stand / audio platform for years now...

 

I didn’t feel the need to run a subwoofer. I used it with Bifrost 2, so I thought the bass was fine.
