HD650 was modded by @purr1n around 2015-2016. Quarter mod, rear damping and foam discs removed. I think it was called the Tri-Mod. I bought this from @foo_me for $255 shipped and they've served me well.
Thanks to @tommytakis I have a JAR650 on the way so it's time to pass these along.
Headphones and cable, no retail box.
Asking $170 shipped CONUS to friends and contributors, $200 to randos.

Hifiman HE-560 was me trying this headphone out once again (now that I've heard more headphones) and finding I still don't like it. Unmodded except for a Sundara headband/chassis.

GLWS -- I'm tempted for this price, although I REALLY don't need any more headphones :)

As I posted elsewhere, HE-560s + ZMF perf suede Universe pads are an interesting mod if any potential buyers are curious about changing the sound. They reduce the 'V' and bring the mids forward as well. To my ears, a significant improvement, although, I suppose if you value the 'quirkiness' of the 560 signature, the changes might not be for you.

Are the Verite pads smaller than the Audeze Vegan pads? The HE-560 sounds really good with the Audeze pads, alas they protrude too much and hit the yokes, which in turns creates an annoying pressure point on the temples. Any such issue with the ZMF pads?

I haven’t tried Audeze pads. But I do see that the ZMF pads are a bit larger than the stock Hifiman pads. If you angle the cups enough, top out, bottom in, they do rub against the yoke.

I haven’t noticed any of the annoying pressure you mentioned — your head/my head :)

I have some Universe pads here. Doesn't look like it would be an issue. PXL_20210121_042337282.jpg

I know there are all kinds of mods people do to these. Some people put Focus A pads on them and call it a day. I'm just not going to put in the effort for this pair of headphones.
I think I'm just a dynamic driver kinda guy. I'm enjoying the HE6SE I just bought from @neogeosnk more than any other Hifiman headphone I've tried, but I'm going to hopefully pass it along to the next owner here on SBAF after I listen to it for a few days. So if anyone is reading this and wants it, I paid $575 shipped and will pass it on for $550.
I'll create a listing for it in a few days, since most folks don't read for sale ad comments :)

@Clemmaster the pic in @Erroneous ' post is exactly what I see -- pads are slightly larger than the cups. Of course my pads are suede, not leather -- shouldn't make a difference. You can tell that if you angled the cup enough, the yoke would 'interact' with the pad.
