So what does one call a stacked horizontal array of a vertical line array?

I think that these CBT units on top of an OB - M bass unit would sound great. I heard the original Keele arrays with OB bass support at RMAF a few years ago and it was the best sound I had heard at the show.

Congrats for bringing this to market Vadim.

How large would an open baffle bass need to be? One of the appealing things about this unit is the small 5" x 15" size.

Quite large. Think linkwitz LX521 type bass units. A small sealed sub will be more compact

    Thank you!

They do sound great with OB bass. My setup at home has 2 2x12 ripoles for bottom end running in stereo. For added front/back wave separation, the ripoles are built into an Ikea Kallax unit in the upper right and lower left slots so that the whole face of the shelf/console effectively acts as a giant baffle without consuming any extra living room space. Plays down to 20hz with DSP. Once I have a chance to pick my head up from the Hook Audio launch, I want to release free plans for the subs as the KOBS (Kallax Open Baffle Subwoofer).

Drums and upright bass are incredible.

To the question of "how large," a standard issue ripole sub is a 15" cube depending on the driver.

The OP originally posted on several forums, including ASR where he said he sent a review unit to Amir for testing. That was back in February and I couldn't find anybody on the web who reported receiving or hearing it. I assume issues came up that prevented putting it in production.
