    With the max balanced prototype, I used to own one of the production models. It was a very nice amp that is probably competitive even today. These are amplifiers not computers.

    My biggest gripe, these feature the opa627 opamps. While a very respectable opamp, they certainly have a strong influence of the overall sound.
