Is it too late to join the dorado loaner? I’d like to join if possible. SoCal region.

If you and @Imraan can cover the fees you can both borrow my Solaris LE no problem. I’ll ask CA about the Dorado heading north.

 

I live in BC, Canada in the rough vicinity of @Biodegraded and would love to participate in the Dorado 2020 tour. I'll happily cover any fees required to make this happen.

 

Just waiting to hear back from CA. Probably Monday or Tuesday.

 

Earlier in the thread you said "friends and contributors" only...my membership still reads as "almost made"...will this be a problem? What do I need to do to attain the status of "friend' in these lofty parts?

 

Canada and the EU are fair game. Just received word from CA.

So do the Canadians in this tour want to split the extra cost of shipping into CA and back out? I’m not sure how to organize that.

hopefully the last person in the USA list can get a quote from the shipper for a domestic shipment and then is ok initially paying for the CA shipping until you all reimburse the difference. Just need to figure out who of you will organize that and make the initial reimbursement before you all split it. Maybe @Biodegraded could make the initial reimbursement since you’re the most senior member and then you can collect 1/3’s of that from the others (or depending if more Canadians sign up).

hope that was clear... and feel free to volunteer any of you or propose your preferred idea.

 

There's some discussion going on about that now. It seems that some pre-delivery paperwork can avoid the most outrageous of the inbound costs, and as long as there's co-ordination with whoever it's coming from in the US it should be able to be worked out. The return shouldn't be too much trouble.

Sure, I'll be receiver for these. I gather @Imraan is first in line for your Solaris LEs. We'll co-ordinate.
