Raspberry Pi I2S to SPDIF Hat

Anyone connected pi2aes to Denafrips Pontus DAC through i2s? Which i2s mode are you using? It seems to me mode 5 marches hardware signaling.

Does i2s support direct DSD?

Some HW kits were shipped without the M2.5 x 18mm M-F standoff. This goes between the PI and the PI2AES. If you are a US customer we will send them out asap. If you are outside of the US or Canada, the best way to get them is to order from a local source or Ali-Express. The M2.5 x 18mm M-F is not very common so if you have trouble we will send them from here. We will reimburse for the cost. We know this is our mistake and will do what we can to correct it asap.

 

I didn't get them. This is the only thing holding me up from completing , Would it be okay to put the OS in and continue? Or should I wait for the standoffs?

 

They only provide mechanical support, so there’s no issue with putting it together and using it. Send an email to [email protected] and I will get you a set out ASAP

 

Mine didn’t come the short standoffs between the case and the pi nor the screws. Michael just sent me a new HW kits. Thanks Michael! You are the best and mistake like this is totally understandable.
