Just noticed something on a zoom in of the case:
Only 2 holes for gain setting LED, yet the GOV2+Infinity has 3 gain settings. Weird.

Not weird, that's the V2+, just 100 mW and 1000 mW like the V2.

I'm trying to make a UERM to TRRS adapter for this. Anyone know what the L+/L-/R+/R- is on the UERM cable? I can't find any guides anywhere.

    Best I can do: http://www.head-fi.org/a/diy-cable-info-and-resources

    or

If you have a multimeter, you can test which pin goes to which part of your TRS plug to identify L+ and R+. From there, if you are building the cable from scratch, you can define which wire is which. If you are cutting off the existing connector and adding a TRRS, then you will have to rely on the multimeter again.

I have. It's better. Got a free cable but will make my own after I ship out all the mods so will pass free one to CEE TEE.

@zerodeefex .. when running the UERM balanced w/ the GOv2+ with a phone.. did you run into any issues with lack of granularity on the volume? I.e. Does it get really loud after one or two clicks on the Google 6P?

Wanted to get some opinions: how does the V2 (normal) compare to amps at similar price points? specifically say, an Asgard 2? Also I already have a CEntrance Hifi M8, are the V2 (in any of its form factors) better / significantly better than what i have? or should i just stick to my current portable setup (i'm using a modded HD650 mainly through the XLR out from the CEntrance in this setup)

While I can't give you a direct comparison since I no longer have my M8, but I pretty firmly believe that the GOV2s sound better. The M8 was a very cool device but ultimately lacked musicality for me. Build quality far better than the GOV2 though and the tone controls were cool.

Thank you. Now I can go ahead and purchase a GOv2 and have a balanced setup for my HD650's.

If I had known you needed one I would have made you an adapter and tossed one in the box with your package.

This is most kind of you!

But seriously I need to re-purchase the GOV2 first. I'll also need it to pair with my BD for my IEMs. Currently a GOV2 is a third of the price of a Bifrost Multibit in Canada.

Haha, I promise I'll send yours back. I'll make you an adapter since I've had it for a while and really can't stop listening with it. Damn good stuff driving the 650's.

I was thinking of ordering a V2+, but it's sold out... I wonder what the deal is with LH Labs?
