The Nitsch DHSA has got wood. Glorious!

 

Maybe it's an OG on display in advance of 3FN availability? There was mention of additional features for convenience, so I was expecting new buttons on the front panel (e.g. switchable XLR/RCA inputs? Just a WAG).

 

Yeah, it's the OG since the new one isn't finalized and will sound exactly the same.

 

So sexy! I hope this becomes a yearly event, I could probably make it in the future.

 

What the heck is this thing? It looks like a Lyr 3 but that is not a Lyr 3 chassis I have seen.

It has a remote by it which would be weird for a headphone amp. Maybe it's a new Saga +?

 

Guess, we'll find out pretty soon but wondering what's the Schiit mid-sized amp in picture 2?

And is that a smaller Aegir with a volume knob above it (not in this ^^^ pic)?

 

It only has one pair of rca connected so very well could be a new headphone amp. Unless they didn't fully connect it before the picture.

Nitsch (CEE_TEE) x Schiit? Holy schiit?! I wish I could make out what the text said but just knowing that this exists makes me excited haha, wonder if this is one of the "bangers" Jason has been teasing us about.

 

The name Piety is probably telling versus Heresy. I'd wager an all discrete design as an accompaniment or replacement for Magni 3+.

 

Heresy is opamp feedforward. Magni 3+ is discrete current-feedback. My guess for Piety is discrete no feedback.

 

I knew @CEE TEE was a free agent, but didn't know he was this free, lol.

Looking forward very much what NITSCH and the collabs have in store for us.

 

I’ve had the prototype Magni Piety here in house for an extended time and it’s no joke. It’s not just a different flavor of Magni it’s a different amp all together and competes with amps many many times it’s price. I’m buying one. I’d go so far as to say that it’s one of my favorite SS amps at any price. I don’t want to say too much I want to let @CEE TEE make his announcements. I will just hint that it sounds like a big well implemented tube amp…

Everyone at the meet should definitely have a listen and don’t let it’s small size and low price tag fool you. We should setup a meme camera at the Nitsch table for all the double takes

Phew, can finally talk about Piety…a few community members have had ears on it.

And yes, this is the OG DSHA at the show. You can see a top down illustration on the site for the upcoming DSHA-3FN. (Waiting on factory prototype.)
