    Besides measurements and Mod thread (will add all useful links later ) , the HD800 needs a dedicated post. Some other thread elsewhere are getting crazy/dead but We all know that headphone needs some work in gear/mod/eq to sound at the Stellar level it's capable of. So let's go on.

    First post will be updated with all useful material. Feel free to do some suggestion and I'll add whatever you want. we're here to do a collective work to help each of us , especially newcomers to that headphone.

    I'll add stuff in English or French. would be happy to add any ressource you want in other languages.

    Probably my only complain with HD800 so far is its silver matte color. I wouldn't mind a chrome HD800 like the PS1000 yay so shiny, haha!
    I drool when I saw the custom paintjob of colorware's HD800.

    Some cheaper alternative for mere mortals like me maybe? :p

    probably the most important headphone ever made, probably the best driver in existence to this day.

    And... *gasp* for the bargain msrp of $1500. Who would of thought that would be a bargain in 2015

    Yup. As I do. I compared all TOTL headphones to my HD800 and the Senn is still my Fav. the two other contender I heard and I'd love to own are HE-6 and SR009. the only "downgrade" I'd consider If If had to let go my HD800 is HD6X0 or a Vintage Lambda.

    Agreed, the HD800 is somehow the best value in terms of "summit-fi" 'phones out there :confused:

    Anyway how did you guys get a custom order at colorware? I don't see any form to fill to send your HD800 to them or such (or perhaps I missed it...)

    Yup. matte black was the only option I could consider. I just choosed Steel metal for the Screens . Kind of "negative" from the stock color scheme ;)

    @rayfalkner : The option to send yours is not currently available.
