So, i picked these up at a local store open box for $90. They are on sale for $75 at newegg now. There is a lot of praise for Grado's on headfi, a lot of hate for them here, but I tried them out and liked them. So i bought them.

    Subjective sound impressions:
I find they have nice detailed highs, I dont find them fatiguing or too sparkly like others have. Nice punchy bass, doesnt extend super deep like a planar, but its not a planar and is open back. I find the bass quite pleasing with its punch. I like the sound very much, but many do not. The graph seems to reflect what I hear. I compared them to the SR60's, and I found the SR60's are quite similar, but lacking in the bass. Looking at SR60 measurements, it appears to be that way.
    Comfort/fit:
I find the pads are fine, not scratchy like others have said. However I find the clamping pressure too high compared to my Pioneer SE-L40's. Ill have to try stretching them out.
    Build Quality:
Not as bad as its made out to be. But certainly not great at all. Lightweight, but pretty plasticy. Dont throw them around.

    Graphs:
Note, they have been a store demo, so they will be "broken in" if you believe in that or not.

I dont know exactly what these next graphs mean, but here they are...

Do note my measurement set up is not the best. I am using a receiver calibration mic mounted in a cardboard box with felt. It seems relatively accurate, but not spot on.

Always great to get more measurements! Do you have a known headphone that we can compare these measurements to?

Also, try messing with your CSD parameters a bit. I have a screenshot of my CSD parameters in this post, give it a try. Currently, your CSD's don't tell us much because of the large frequency window.

OK, I'll try that when I get home.

My only headphones are these, modded t50rp's, and vintage pioneer se-l40's, so unfortunately I have no common baseline to compare with.

Update: comfort is better now after a few days. Seems to have been more streched out now, much better.

@spwath Looks like your rise time setting might be off a bit.

Much better. Play around with those settings. Eventually you will want to stick with certain parameters so each additional headphone measurement can be compared to the rest.

Are the pads stock or with a quarter mod?

    Stock.
Might want to try quarter mod, but I don't want to put holes in my pads :)
