    Well @Marvey I'' not sure what to do now. I'll post this up to get some troubleshooting going on.

    As the video shows, my turntable motor is pretty dang loud even after oiling it as Marv suggested. It takes a couple minutes to get to this point, but then it stays loud even after shutting it off and turning back on again.
    Is there anything I can do to fix the deal, or should I get a new motor from Pro-Ject?

    Sounds like a brushed motor where the carbon contacts are worn out, but could be something else of course.

    Oh shoot. Sorry about that! You might want to call Needledoctor for a replacement motor. Will probably run $50. I'd be happy to split the difference in cost since I sold it to you recently.

    You sold it to me for a stupid low price, I'll get the motor myself. :p I'm also prolly gonna sell it too, since I can't bring it with me to Cali. Sorry Merbey!
