Anyone heard of these guys? Their business model seems to be direct to the end user and the prices seem very reasonable.

Could be worth testing? They are so cheap!! My brain has gotten used to audiophile headphone pricing, these prices are a shock :D

Hmm, so they grabbed a bunch of OEM shells (or knockoffs) and did stuff... not bad for the pricing all things considered.
    HD One = Beats
    HD Two = Parrot Zik?
CB One = maybe Sony V700... but this is a rather generic DJ headband look
OB-1 = looks familiar but can't place it
    BT-1 = kinda looks like a SOL?

Supposedly, they put Beats to shame, so there's that.

Looks like it really couldn't hurt to try them and get some measurements.

Beats have come a long way if you haven't heard them lately. I was shocked at their headphones.

I have, and I agree, although they are clearly not tuned with me or my tastes in music in mind. And while that makes judging value a little more difficult, I still think they are a dubious value proposition. No judgment here, I think they still sell a shitload of 'em. Just not to me.

I agree with you completely. When I heard them it was not what I was expecting at all. Definitely similar to my preferred sound, but I would not purchase them. Still think they aren't half bad... Or maybe they aren't half good. ;)

@Warrior and @Senorx12562 yeah Beats is that controversy brand which started with big shit and then improved but I can't get rid of the fact that they fooled so much people before improving :(. I like spending sometime in malls where I can try several pair of "mainstream" headphones just to see where are we with that. And the last try on the Beats MixR was actually good for me. But still... The price and "Beats fooled people" effect came back. It's terrible but I have to admit it .

Regarding the topic, I am considering ordering a OB-1. They are cheap but some comments make me believe that they may provide good sound. Other comments are actually rather funny :
    page 2 :D.

But this one is more interesting :

@Deep Funk damn, if it is the case then we are going to have a nice surprise :). The HD668 is always a recommendation that I give when somebody does not bother with semi-open/not very beautiful headphones configuration and add in the sentence : "I want something cheap and good sounding, lows are not mandatory."

Beats and Bose... both have shaped the entire market in which they reside, have contributed significantly to the field, and have actually put out decent gear here and there, but I don't want either of them in my house.

We have the KSC75, KSC35 and PortaPro as guardians of good sound. Who needs expensive when affordable is better?

I might be tempted too at the price, if I didn't already have more 'phones than anyone needs except a crazy person.

The temptation was too high, I lost once again.... I'll keep you up to date and I'll try a small review.

That's... actually not a bad set of measurement at all.
