Had an insane weekend shift. Monday was for sleeping. Today was for catching up. That "Black Panther" film, yeah pretty good...

Not that I expected it to, but Black Panther doesn't really compare to its intellectual counterparts like Get Out, Moonlight, etc. It was still good though.

f**k you, reminding me about the HD-25. Turns out they sound surprisingly nice out of my Jot for a bit of drum and bass... Who knew? Brutal driver control.. bass is surprisingly tight. Going to have to do the damned spring mod though.

While you're at it there's a mod for removing the foam baffles behind the driver and lining the earcups with dynamat that I think sounds better, and if you can source the pads Sennheiser made for the hd-25 aluminum they are the best.

I'd rather not bugger them about, I sometimes need them for live sound use, so knowing the peculiarities of how they should sound is important. They need to be interchangeable with the other pairs.

Ya it does change it noticeably, one of the things I wound up having to do on mine when I changed to the gold springs was clip off the piece at the end that is bent 90 degrees to get the cables to seat correctly. It was absolutely bewildering figuring that out. You probably won't have that problem, good luck anyways.

I have medium to thin wrists and I can rock a 42mm Steinhart weighing quite a lot. The nato-strap really keeps it comfortable. You can wear 45mm but find a strap that makes it feel and fit right. Since getting the Seiko 5 37mm I finally understood that big watches are not my thing. 42mm is plenty.

37 mm versus 42 mm, on a wrist it can make a difference. The small Seiko 5 feels smaller than my 42mm watch. Good watch though...

The lug to lug width can also make a difference. I can generally wear a 42 mm, or smaller, case width and a 47 mm, or shorter, lug to lug width. The thickness of the movement has a small role to play in the comfort of a watch. Anything thicker than 14 mm and I'm likely to catch it on things.

I was pretty excited for Windows 10 after the problems I had with 8, but ended up pretty disappointed. The automatic updates are ridiculous. I've already migrated to Linux at this point with the exception of my wife's laptop because she just can't let go of iTunes.

Is there, currently, still a functional way to completely & permanently or (at least) partially/temporarily: Disable Win10 from Automatically Downloading & Installing any types of Updates? How about post-FCU v1709?

But, instead, still have a fully-working Option to Update everything Manually?

Maybe @zerodeefex or @Marvey knows? (since you fellas are the Top-Dogs when it comes to Security/PC related stuff. Pls Help!

I prefer linux but I'm forced into win10 because of software. That being said one of my win10 machines ran win7, went through the free update and all subsequent updates and it still works great. My other machine needed a new motherboard and several reinstalls to work properly. My laptop runs Elementaryos, great interface, if the shell would run stable on arch i would switch though.
