My audio journey began nearly 35 years ago. It started so very simply; with my passion and love for music. This love (as far back as I can remember) started as a very young boy picking up my very first pair of drum sticks while listening to my father playing his native ethic instrument, the accordion.

It is an honor having been born into a family where “live music” filled our home each day with beautiful, emotional sounds. Sounds that makes you feel wonderful! Similar to that feeling, the one that comes with taking your first good stretch in the morning (the one that makes you smile). I can still remember running down those old creaky stairs in my home as a young child (beginning at 5 years old) bursting with excitement when I heard my father beginning to unlock his accordion case. I couldn’t wait to play with my father by picking up those drum sticks to develop a pattern (a rhythm), in my attempt to create beautiful swirling sounds of music. As my father pushed the accordion bellows back and forth across his knee, I tapped the tips of the drum sticks against the tile of that old kitchen floor.

I never forgot those precious moments with my father. I purchased my very first 2 channel system at the ripe old age of 12. Throughout my 35 year journey, I have owned more than 20 distinct audio systems comprising of many amazing components. I'm professionally trained as a musician, however my full time gig is as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) protecting people and information assets. I have diverse interests, one most notability is a self-proclaimed audiophile.

From my humble beginnings, music has always been an anchor in my life. One of the many delightful facets of music is the ability to facilitate “universal communication”. In my view, music has the unique ability to transcend all humanity! Although this is a bold statement, music comes from a very pure place. It does not come with pride, prejudice, injustice, or judgment. Irrespective of a person’s background, language, education-level, or financial position, music is carefree.

What could be more beautiful than to share the gift of music with the world?
