I wish I could do this, but I'd have to buy a new monitor arm because my current one sucks.

It's so worth it. I finally have that wall of sound again.

    @AdvanTech @Yeskey
    I agree 100%.
Long time ago, I got 2 of those old Ergotron-LX wall-mounts & then also bought THREE extra Extension-arms, per each 27" Monitor; screwed the 3.5" lag-bolts to 2x4 Studs; swung them around from left & right sides (w/ HDTV perma-mounted in the middle); and it's a 4-piece/5-joint system per Panel. Never failed me once. My panels don't even wobble, but I do have 'em each on tight tension.

BTW, AdvenTech, really lovin' ya new Bhavas desk-setup! (just not the Desk itself, it sticks out like a sore thumb; my bad, just being completely honest w/ ya. It, imo, needs more mice-pad space!) But it's elegant & more or less simplistic... And "Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication", like Da-Vinci once said. :P

I got a small-ish room, myself, as well (~11x10ft). So, those Front-Ported designs (w/ offset tweeters) can go right up to walls & be toed-in properly ...and still sound great & work like their designers intended.

haha it's okay. The desk is awkward but it's the only way I can get my monitor flush with the drivers and my laptop far enough away without having to buy a new desk.

Yeah, my room might be a hair larger than yours. I still hear the effects of having the speakers next to the wall. It's just a bit less than something rear-ported.

Oh, also, you had a Question about killing the Boominess/Bloat in your corner(s) back at your Speaker's photo thread...

Try what Marvey suggested, to begin with: https://goo.gl/f7LRUJ

And then read some of the suggestions from others, right on the next page (Page-5) here: https://goo.gl/VBYyCs

But, it's all a bit way over my head atm, as I'm still not there yet (still awaiting on my 3-way Speakers to be build; though mine are rear-ported, unfortunately).

But GIK Acoustics & Auralex & couple of Sweetwater Reps are great places to ask for some professional advice...

Though, those: RealTraps (Ethan Winer's), GIK Acoustics, Auralex. etc... they all are mostly Biased to their own methodology, since they all Sell & Profit from what they Preach... so just be careful not to go overboard w/ overpriced Acoustic Treatments that won't fix your specific audio spectrum issues!

BTW, one of three main reasons I got a wall-mounted articulating arm thing, is that, now, I have some proper space for a Center-channel Speaker. I'm kinda gravitating towards the "Salk Center RT" (MTM + FP) or its' better-mids/woofer-driver version, the "Center SC" (MTM + FP)...

...Just cause it's 8" high (so fits right under my LCDs w/ its mounted arms), Front-ported (my Desk is way closer to wall than L/R ch. will be), has RAAL Tweeter (never used one, but supposedly it's better than Dome).

And especially cause I can't seem to stop f'ing spending $$ on shit that I absolutely don't need, but want... to at least complement the 3-way Speakers (also RAAL based w/ same Crossovers by Dennis).

Ah, you're going to love the BMR's! I have some thoughts about ribbon vs. dome but I don't know if you want to listen to me blabbing on about it.

Oh and I'm a big fan of: Orchestral / Instrumental / Symphony/Choir / Female vocals / Epic Trailer music / Game&Movie OST / Inspirational / Melodic / World / new age Classical, and the usual mix of niche and popular Genres, Rock etc... that we all love, type of music.

The RAAL's are pretty special. They resolve well but you can either think they artificially sweeten the highs compared to domes, or it's domes that aren't as inherently smooth. Take your pick of what you think is supposed to be the baseline.

Honestly I've been going through a very difficult time in my life, (as I'm sure we all have had to, and will go through, ourselves, at one point, or another in life, cause life is pretty difficult, that stuff just happens, it's unavoidable) w/ losing a family member & a best friend.

So, anyways; such niche Genres do help me a bit to get inspired & motivated so that I can keep on limping into the future, so to speak.

I could have a headache and still want to listen to them because they were so smooth up top. But in the end, I am selling them because they aren't as coherent as domes + woofers.

In any given song, I could tell what was making the ribbons sing, and what was making the woofers sing.

There is a clear distinction between them, and I was willing to give up that sweetness so that all frequencies melded together more

The BMR's are f'ing great though. They were my intro to proper 2-channel and I loved them.

I appreciate your explanation of the differences!

It seems like there is a Consensus on cohesiveness of a 2-way or 2-way w/ Domes (even more so)... Versus a 3-way w/ Dome or w/ a RAAL.

I did see a very similar comparison/discussion of Ascend-Acoustics Sierra 2's vs the BMR's on the AVSForums... good thing I'll have ~15 days Trial to Return them if I like the 2-ways w/ Dome better. We'll see! :D
    Thank you, good sir!

And about the other thing you mentioned as well, you're absolutely right, man!

Even though this awesome Music hobby is one of mine (and surely many others, as well, on here) biggest passions... it's not the only thing that's so damn great (and enjoyable) about life!

Damn I need to get a dog... once again! :D

Just to clarify: I didn't mean the cohesiveness of 2 vs. 3-way, but dome/woofer(s) vs. ribbon/woofer(s).

If crossover design is good, it shouldn't be a problem. There's just a bit of a difference in the way ribbons present sound vs domes.

Don't forget if they still sound off or synergize weirdly... it's probably your small-ish room as well as wall positioning/reflections/toe-in/tweeter-in/outward-position that is still gonna be a major if not the biggest factor to properly integrate your new Speakers...
And, imo, second to that, is how good the Speakers actually perform... I mean they're probably uber expensive, so they must be great-er!?! :P
