This is a (bass) customizable closed can that can be driven by a smart phone. The Beyer folks are bold with their specs printed all over the back (or front) of the box:

T.H.D < 0.2% (who knows at what SPL)
Ambient noise attenuation approx 18 dBA (who knows at what frequency)
Nominal frequency response 5 to 35,000 Hz (wow)

The bass customization has 4 presets and the frequency responses below 1 kHz are roughly sketched on the side of the box:

Comfort is reasonable and isolation is indeed what one should expect from an closed (or almost closed) set of cans. Style is also reasonable:

Now, why the hell did they had this fairly attractive girl in the pic above wear a shirt with "Youth Is Waste ..." written all over and actually smack the picture right in the middle of the box beats me.

I tried the presets and the only one that I liked was Preset 2 (measurements or no measurements). Presets 3 & 4 (bassy) where too muddy and fucked up. Preset 1 had zero balls. Preset 2 was just right. Balance is good. This is one of the best Beyers I've heard so far. Not super resolving, but good impact at Preset 2, and no major annoyances. Treble scares me with Beyers, but these were not too bad.

These seem to approach the $150 price range that most premium Pro cans target, and indeed I think these are competitive. In fact, I feel these (at Preset 2) are tuned to sort of neutral.

Presets comparo (had to scale up the dB axis a little to capture Preset 4 bass hump)

True to the box, from Preset 1 to Preset 2 there does seem to be roughly a 20 dB gain in the bass region.

If you can get your hands on a DT770 (or anything in that family), swap out the drivers and I'll bet you'll see an improvement in distortion. It's been a while since I've done it, but the entire driver assembly should be a drop-in replacement. Some dynamat on the baffle should help too, as the entire plate is a bit shaky.
