The amp is gone. Now I have an empty spot on my desk for something else. ;)

In highschool I taught myself how to drive on my stepdad's 1st gen Civic. Man, that car was fun to drive. Cornered like a banshee (or so I thought at the time). It didn't have a chance to get sold as my sister totaled it hitting a parked car while reaching down to find a cassette tape in the passenger footwell. Man, I was pissed #myavatar

I got bitten by the vintage gear bug a few years ago. I would buy research, hunt, buy a nice piece and then spend months restoring it. But I never stopped looking for new pieces. I would eventually come across a new find and would have to sell my current piece to buy the new fine. I went through about five vintage pioneer receivers. Last one sold was an sx-1080 that was near mint. Damn, I sure miss that one.

I love vintage Pioneer. It took me a few years but I eventually was able to get my hands on the very same model my Dad had when I was a kid growing up. Pioneer TX-8100 & Pioneer SA-8100. I'll keep these till I die. Then my kids can sell all my shit.

My 2002 Scion tC. While I wouldn't call it actual regret, it carried some sentimental value for all the shit that the car had to put up with while I tried to learn how to drive a manual. Really liked that car; technically I drive a better car now, but sometimes I miss it.

More common with me is buyer's remorse. It doesn't matter how much I research and am sure I want to make a big purchase, always end up questioning myself. Like buying a Verite (even though it hasn't even arrived yet).

Was a dj in college and had hundreds of promo cds and records. Ended up homeless... had to sell everything off. Even sold my show tapes for people to record over. That's pretty much the only regret I have selling anything, everything else replaceable.
