Foreword: I acquired the Carbo Tenore during a search for a good sleeping IEM. The Tenore sounds very very good when deeply inserted (and V-shaped/almost sibilant with a shallow fit) and is another solid recommendation for a cheap, small-form-factor IEM with a "mainstream-friendly" sound signature.

    Analysis:
    • As with most IEMs, the treble of the Tenores changes with insert depth. What's measured here is with my recommendation of a deeper insert, which tames the treble peaks and smooths out the overall sound.
    • CSD is nothing out of the ordinary for a DD IEM. Decay is pretty clean though, and I would predict being one of the better ones within its price bracket (more data points required).
    • 1.2k anomaly on the left channel (CSD + THD) is repeatable. Doesn't sound off, though it just could be my brain doing its magic for stereo listening.
    • Overall, the Tenore is a surprisingly clean and clear sounding IEM with a satisfying bass boost and well controlled treble. Certainly not a giant killer by any means, but as far as micro-drivers go it could very well be the best of the lot.

Have heard the only thing wrong with these (at that price) is the build quality.

Just trying them out for the first 45 mins. Quite a bass boost (a bit much for me), and a very clean, almost polished image, although the midrange is quite a bit back and the stage is not very high. Will experiment with tips and insertion depth. Worth their money for sure.

@La Cenric did they end up being a good size for sleeping (especially on the side)? Or did you find something better?
