Looks like the early beta impressions are good.. Looks promising.

I finally got a box of Lucio-Oh's. I may have gotten diabetes and 3 cavities from the bowl I ate, but it boosted my wall-riding and booping abilities by approximately 3.14% so definitely a recommendation if you are trying to up your Overwatch game.

Dirt Rally 2.0 is downloading as I type this.

I don't know why, but I just love having to turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction to the direction I'm turning.

Slaphead, Dirt Rally is one of my favorite racing games ever released. Absolutely loved it and I'm considering buying 2. You'll have to let us know how it goes.

Been playing a lot of Apex Legends lately. Had been wanting to get into Destiny 2 a bit to play with another member here but every time I gave it a shot it didn't quite draw me in. Oh, I did give Metro: Exodus a shot.. I requested a refund after about an hour. Quite boring and buggy, IMO.

Hold off for the time being.

Currently there's a lot of bad noise about the game needing to be always online to play the "single player" career mode, this coupled with the fact that Codemasters servers are going up and down faster than a hooker's knickers, is making the career mode unplayable for a lot of people. It affected me as well, but fortunately there's lots of other stuff to do outside of the career mode that doesn't require a constant online connection.

Secondly if you use a force feedback wheel, then currently it appears to be broken on all wheels and all platforms. You get a just useable self aligning torque model but that's it - no detail whatsoever, no bumps, vibrations, road surface, tire slip, etc. If you're a controller man then it works great by all accounts, but I'm a wheel man and could never go back to playing a driving sim with a controller, so this FFB issue is really annoying me at the moment.

I have the feeling a bunch of Codemasters developers are pulling a 48 hour weekend to sort this shit out before the standard version of the game becomes available on Tuesday.

On the upside everything else about the game looks and sounds great - when watching a replay the cars really appear to behave naturally - to the point that it could convince you it's actual rally footage. It's not quite up there with Gran Turismo Sport for visuals but it's close IMO.

It's still early days and I expect, hopefully, a slew of patches to be pushed out over the coming weeks.

Thanks for the heads up, and uhh, taking the $75 early access dive. I do use a controller though I've always wanted a wheel setup. I've wanted to go all out with a chair rig and I'm sure the wife would love that.

The online requirement is a bit disappointing for career mode but I did really enjoy Rally 1's MP setup to the point I played it much more often than career once I hit masters league. Excellent for casual play and always felt fresh as the car/track combos were picked well.

For you FPS/Russian FPS lovers, Metro Exodus is outstanding. I'm having a hell of a lot of fun playing this one, and it's gorgeous!

I have been looking at this game. Are you on PC, Xbox or Sony?

    Anyone still playing Dota2?

I don't play much now, only about 1-2 games a week recently and didn't play much the last ~2 years (as in only a few times a year). However, I have been playing Dota1 regularly since 2007.

Finished Metro Exodus a couple of days back, didn't like the ending as I'd killed indiscriminately on this run. Playing it again, this time avoiding all those unnecessary kills. First go thru was on my i7 4770K + Radeon VII rig at 3440x1440, now replaying on my i7 3960X + 2x RX VEGA64 rig at 3840x1080, just to keep it fresh.

I'm still playing Metro Exodus. I’ve always wondered how this game works for people who aren’t familiar with Russian language and culture. I’ve played the whole series in Russian and some of the cultural stuff they put in there... brilliant.

How is it stacked up against the Stalker games? I've never been a big metro fan, I really want that big map to explore.

Exodus has a large map area but I'm used to the Metro games having that more closed in and intimate environment. This one went all open world-like and feels like any run of the mill open world game out there IMO. So, given the size of it this iteration may draw you in. The story for me was not well done from a dialogue or content level, especially with the main character being voiceless. I also encountered plenty of bugs. This one just didn't do it for me, I guess. Performance was fluid at least.

Ripping it with Stratos in Dirt Rally with Xbox One controller, all aids off. The force feedback & general feel is great once you have configured all settings.
