Lots of kids these days are quick to accuse others of being racist, homophobic, lacking compassion, or otherwise wrong. It is part of modern culture, especially in the USA. Their goal is to make you feel bad, told you are wrong because you have views which are different.

A similar incident happened many years ago when an MOT made a joke on the reasons to use different operating systems. For the MacOS, one of the reasons among many to was to "impress their LGBT friends". It was a joke, a stereotype. However, someone was offended and proceeded to school the MOT for being homophobic. Years later, I see clearly now. These claims to be so hurt are simply skillfully disguised attempts to skullfuck another person. Like ripping out your eyeball and stuffing a schlong in and out your eye socket until you cry and say sorry.

Anyway, you do have to be careful with any mention of "jew" on the Internet. A lot of kids (especially true in the USA) don't know anything about world history, much less read what you actually wrote. They see words jew, German, and hate; and without reading further and trying to understand the context, assume that you are a Nazi. The pointing of fingers at others (as opposed to self-realization and learning how to employ skillful means to promote understanding) is very ingrained into some politically correct circles.

And yes, I don't believe for a second that most ordinary Germans (or the rest of Europe for that matter) wasn't antisemitic to some extent. If they weren't, they wouldn't have let the Holocaust happen (closing eyes and covering ears is a passive method).

On the other hand, I've seen bad behavior from Jewish people in powerful positions in corporate environments, especially those in more traditional and legacy businesses. There are a lot of Persians in SoCal, and I've heard many an off-handed comment about Persians from a Jewish executive for two. And then there are the evangelical Christians which I have heard Jewish people from all walks of life flat out denigrate - although this is probably more a matter of politics than religion.

The point is that people say shit all the time, and sometimes they say shit in a certain context, so this is why we need to be careful of hearsay. And also, we need to give people second chances, and third chances in terms of speech. The Internet amplifies bad behavior x10. We are humans and as humans are tribal creatures; and as members of tribes are going to say shit about other tribes. You should hear the kind of shit that goes on at Asian dinner tables.

P.S. The person who accused @Garuspik of saying shit about Jews on Discord should hang his head in shame. It's about time we called things the other way since false accusations like this can be so damaging and difficult to take back.

I am glad you said this. I miss the time where you could make a joke and actually ridicule bigotry, racism, xenophobic behavior and other stupid things but even if you ridicule this negatives points you became a target yourself.

I do remember how Archie Bunker made me think about my own negative perspectives about an individual or a group of individual and i learn so much about his ridiculousness.

I am going to put a videoclip in spoilers to avoid the more sensitive:

Oh yes, I have to be careful on what we say. I can't even be my true self on having a serious conversations about race in American without people attempting to pull the race card on me.

Personally I been attacked before because I have a Jewish name. The punks back in school targeted my ass because "we don't like Jews around this part of the park." That plus other uber racist shit I saw with my own two eyes over the years from all colors/walk of life told me that everyone can be racist.

100% agreed. Some of the most racist people that I met were people in Jewish backgrounds, sadly. When I was growing up my father used the N word often in NYC to blacks, saying they were a bunch of monkeys. I saw really horrible racism from Koreans, African Blacks who were immigrants, and so much more. I met some wonderful Persians, but some Jews don't like them due to well, IRAN.

I remember this one horrible memory when I was with my father in the Old City in Jerusalem. This Christian priest was minding his business when three Jewish kids started to throw stuff at the priest. They told him this is OUR country and you need to leave. For a group of people who were harmed by Hitler, they are sure acting like Hitler. The worse part was this nine year old ask my father why the kids were attacking the priest, he didn't do anything wrong. My father said the kids attacking the priest was the right thing to do.

I'm in Jax, FL, so I'm in the bible belt. I met plenty of racist Evangelical Christians who on purpose segregate themselves from anyone who is a person of color. I worked with one before who was quoting this verse from the bible that stated it's ok for whites to not mix with blacks. Then I worked with another Evangelical Christian who was female. She did believed that females have lower standards than man, the female must obey 100% to the man, and must bare children and be a stay at home mom homeschooling her. She found out that I was Jewish and stated to tell me about how good Jesus was and the only path to heaven was to believe in Jesus. Also she was uber right wing (which as a libertarian it scares the crap out of me), and stated we will respect Jews but only if they believe in Jesus. It's often here in Jax that most of the Christian schools are self-segregated between rich/poor, black/white. Personally I don't have a problem if people want to self segregate themselves (it's like living in NYC), but being closed minded suck donkeynuts.

One reason I'm not a fan of second changes is how I grew up and saw life in my way. I'll accept my faults here, including wanted to know if someone was Anti-Jewish. I just got burnt out of the racism in my family, friends, environment, culture.

I been so away from religion that I became a full-blown Agnostic Atheist. Got sick of people saying their religion is better than theirs, and they used religion as a front of racism. One reason I kind of want to move out of the Southern US is I'm getting sick of that concept. Then again, racism will go wherever there humans.

Agreed on Asian dinner tables. Went to this one Chinese house once, the father wouldn't allow his daughter to be with black people in private life. Asian or white men only. As an American that offended me, but at the end of the day once someone is a legal adult, in my opinion that person can do whatever they want (including who they want to f**k).

Ignore me folks, I'm on a drinking mood.

Well, given the overwhelming evidence of racism and jackassery posted elsewhere, we're done. @Garuspik had his chance but has proven that his "intern" was just him.
