Flying to Taiwan next Friday and need some IEMs asap for the 14hr flight. If anyone has the ex1000 for sale that'd be awesome! :)

EX1k provides practically zero isolation, FWIW.

I have the Sony WF-1000XM3 on order for really noisy situations, but the EX1000 should be fine for most normal environments?

I always use my bose qc20i when flying long distance, noise cancellation is very good.

If you don't need any isolation, then yes. They almost sound like an open headphone. The venting pretty much lets you hear everything around you.

If you want something with near ex1k bass performance and decent levels of isolation, I recommend the modded FD01. You might be able to find someone getting rid of theirs who's ordered the (Mass)Drop FDX1.
