"Slave labor" is a bit of a stretch; more like: "teach middle/high-school students how manufacturing at schiit works through a very hands-on way, and then eventually sell these units and give all profits back to the local schools." Garage sale Yggdrasil's have the latest firmware that "substantially improves Yggdrasil's performance at 20-bit and lower levels" compared to the original Yggdrasil A1, and besides the analog boards is a completely "new Yggdrasil", comprising of any kaisen updates made. You could buy one and then get the A2 upgrade, but why would you? (with the shipping costs to and back). Just buy Clemmaster's A2 (if you're a contributor/friend) for a great deal. The Yggdrasil GS is just a good deal if you're okay with the A1.
