@squishware That's actually the DEQ2496 (ultracurve), not the crossover (ultradrive?), and I'm using it just to EQ my subwoofers. It sits after the preouts on my integrated amp. I didn't love what it was doing to the signal when I was using it before the Fostex, even when I used it for just digital stuff.

"@squishware the more you post pictures of your speaker setups, the more I'm starting to suspect you are Patrick Bateman."

@RobS unknown to me reference but I will respond anyway. KonMari Bro!
(I do not have anymore speakers systems to keep the post legal)

    Thanks to @supertransformingdhruv
I had the idea to try the Fostex sub I had already decided to return due to the haze created by the crossover ahead of the horns and split the RCA at the AMP and feed the Fostex Horns and Line Level of the Fostex sub.

The PM-SubMini2 has an adjustable crossover which I set to 80 but could not get it seamless as 2.1 system. Then I had the idea to set the horn on top, that corrected the time delay/ point source issue I could not resolve. I removed the other channel from the sub and it got cleaner still. I ordered a second sub and some silicone feet and consider this system sorted. Last bit is to eliminate my phone as the source and install the Raspberry Pi / Pi2AES.

I am super excited because I have my audio just about sorted and I can just enjoy it. Last bit dangling is some repairs to my La Figaro 332C. I will need to find an amp repair guy to change the jack and might as well upgrade the pot since it will have to be removed to access the jack.

+1 on that. When you're crossing as high as 80-100 Hz, I find that stereo subwoofers add a lot of depth. Your mileage may vary though since your placement is vastly different from mine-- I think my subs might be about one 100Hz wavelength (~10ft) apart?

Moving in with a friend, so we smashed our rigs together.

Me -- Yggdrasil, biamping Aegir (for Voxativ) + Vidar (for parallel 15" woofers), open baffle speakers, and about 1/6th the records you see
Him -- Double Technics 1200s, Urei 1620 pre, about 5/6th the records

    Very nice.

My hint. If any of those electronics produce heat, or even warmth, get something between them and the vinyl. Preferably a gap with airflow. True, it is better to have the heat on top than underneath, but I am oversensitive to vinyl-warp risks, having learnt the hard way.

When I lived in a bigger house and had a dedicated listening room, I obsessed over placement and setup of these things. But here, maybe because the room's not square, it doesn't really seem to matter. So long as they're toed in and equidistant from the listening position, they sound great there -- and they sound good everywhere else too (although to be fair, I don't crank them up as loud as I used to, so maybe if I did I'd notice room modes).

    Vifa PL18 x 2, Audax HM100Z0, ScanSpeak D2010/8513. In very solid 120-lb transmission-line cabinets with a tunable port.

(My rack doesn't normally look like that, btw -- those are all the DACs and headphone amps I'm evaluating this week.)

The speakers look nice yet I am tempted to say that I like the looks of the room and the furniture and of course the view even better. Congrats!

Thanks! There's no TV in the room, so that allows furniture choices and placement that wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Makes me wonder why the chairs point the other way though.

Haha, yeah. I should have posted a wide-angle view or something.

There's other seating that faces the speakers (that's a coffee table in the lower-left corner of the photo). The red and blue chairs are placed more for conversation or reading -- or for headphones, in the case of the red chair -- than for listening to music from the speakers.

Kitchen system completed. The pair of Fostex "subs" flesh out the horns just the right amount for quiet listening. I bought a second LG V40 for a dedicated source. USB Audio Pro outputs Bit Perfect High Resolution digital files to the Ifi Micro Black Label and if I want to listen to the Quad DAC on the phone I can RCA Y cable into the amp. I am really liking the silicone feet from Hudson HiFi on Amazon. They are on all four corners of each sub and speaker.

2-Way DIY Mains using Dayton RS180 7" drivers and the RS28F Tweeter (Natalie P - Jon Marsh Design)
Rythmik Audio F12 sealed 2^ft3 enclosure (Not currently in use, trying to figure out of it is worth integrating. My mains are tuned to 28hz and go pretty deep on their own).

    TV
Same speakers as above using the HT Bypass of the PreAmp
    Marantz AV7704 Pre\Pro

You may notice my old school Yamaha M-60 in the bottom right corner which I switch in every once in a while to play with the first few watts of Class A output. (Haven't done this in a while)

Spatial M3 Turbo S, biamped by Vidar and Aegir through a custom DIY opamp based active crossover (waiting for Nelson Pass' new DIY design)
PI2 502DAC bnc out to OG Bifrost multibit coax for music
Computer USB to iFi iDSDmicro for other stuff with sound
And an OG Saga to control all that

From where I come (iDSDmicro, Topping TP60, Klipsch RP250F), it sounds pretty good :)

This has become my "office" rig, mainly composed of items I had sitting around collecting dust, so it's pretty simple, but is great for something to listen to while working...

Monitor is only for displaying track info etc... and is mostly off.

Looks like a cool nerd cave. If you want to do some cable management under the desk, I would suggest Ikea Signum.
