The food itself is not, at this time, shown to be a vector for Covid. The main concerns are around interacting with people and the packaging. Therefore avoid contact with the delivery people, wash your hands before you eat (since you probably handled the packaging) and don’t handle the packaging while eating (transfer to another clean container/plate carefully before consuming).

I suspect it's not that easy of a transmission vector. Delivery and takeout have become very popular out here- just chatting to a delivery guy in the lift the other day, he said they were totally flat out with work. But there haven't been a corresponding rise in the number of otherwise mysterious infections- the vast majority of recent cases have been returnees from overseas, or people getting hammered together in bars.

Dr. Roger Seheult in Banning, California has been presenting a very good educational video series on COVID-19 on the MedCram YouTube channel. It is best to start at the beginning but here is the latest. It is one of the better resources I have come across. No conspiracy theories, just facts from a pulmonologist.

On the subject of masks browse this latest article in Wired: It's Time to Face Facts, America: Masks Work

That would mean I'm serious and could be sued for offering bad advice. It's customary for advice decision trees to be badly drawn in SBAF.

I used Visio a lot for network diagrams before I retired, but would not pay for it for home use. Libre Office Draw has a very similar look and feel though, and it is free.

And FL is at the Stay-At-Home order.

My Libertarian Friends are thinking about a lawsuit against the FL Gov since they considered the ruling to be beyond the auth of the FL Gov. Fun times.

The one bit of advice missing from this national discussion on COVID-19 is being responsible for your level of health. Vitamin C, D3 and Zinc are very important for the immune system. I would like to see us running out of high quality Multivitamins than toilet paper.

Already out everywhere near me. Amazon, too when I check. Have been eating lots of fruits and vegetables, so am probably fine, but would be nice to get supplements.

Businesses gotta survive and if they are following proper food safety protocols the food itself should still be clean. Cooking food would kill coronavirus germs.

These shelter in place/no dining in closures are likely going to go on for months. Expecting to see lots of small businesses struggle/go out of business if they don't have any revenue coming in. Saw in an article today that a local hotpot place had seen a 75% drop in their business and are doing this for takeout:

The included mini stove hotpot I thought was a nice touch. Orders over $50 comes with two free facemasks.

We have been trying to order some from local, mom and pop food places because they have to be hurting right now.
But have also stocked up on food so have been mostly cooking meals.

But wasn't happy with Doordash. On Friday, I ordered through around 2pm for a 6pm delivery. Guy finally showed up at 715. But at least the food was good.

I already ordered a lot of takeout/delivery before this crisis, and I'm continuing to do so, but specifically concentrating my orders now on local independent businesses rather than big chains as they are the ones least likely to survive. Dominos, Popeyes, Subway and Wendy's will probably still be around after this is over. The awesome Chinese, Vietnamese, Greek and Indian places within walking or biking distance, not so much.

There aren't really any great restaurants close to my job except for a few that *just* recently opened up a few months ago.

This Korean place opened up close by that I love going to because they just make amazingly fresh and tasty food. I'm hoping they can power through this and I've ordered from them several times but I'm not sure they're doing so well. Crossing my fingers for them.
