WTB: Logitech C290 Webcam

Hey all - I want to start offering services over webcam like voice/dance lessons and raves on zoom so that some DJs in the edm scene can make some more cash and I don't have a webcam right now. Unfortunately it looks like everywhere is either price gouging or sold out so I thought I'd try my luck here. Thank you!

I think you mean C920, not C290.

And you might have better luck finding a C930e. It's a business-focused webcam so it isn't compatible with the goofy filters or motion-detector software that you can run with the C920. But on the other hand it has a wider field of view and produces visibly sharper video -- and because people are sheep and they're all looking for the C920 these days, you can probably find it (maybe on Ebay) at a price close to its usual street price.

Make sure you read or watch reviews before buying a C930e, though, so you're clear on the differences between it and the C920.

I picked up mine from Best buy last week.

 

Looks like there's significant price gouging on all Logitech webcams right now. Even the good less talked about alternatives like the Microsoft business webcams are sold out.

Crazy.
