I keep forgetting the various designations, but I'm looking for the 1:1 version.

Thanks, but seems like a used Jensen would be cheaper.

Yeah I was recently looking at these too. The PO and PI are both 1:1 but look at their input impertinences:

    PI-2XR (Min 22k Typical: 23.5k Max 25k) and PO-2XR (Min 670 Typical 680 Max 690)

I was worried my GMB A1 might have issues as I had read Yggdrasil and GMB A1's had trouble with 600ohm loads. Looks like you have a BF2, I'm guessing it's better like the A2's of it's bigger brothers but not 100% sure.

I ended up finding a great deal on a used PI-2XR, wanted a PO-2XR but was worried I might run into issues. And like you said it's more than likely mostly nervosa anywho.

my suggestion before you spend $200+ on one of these which are really meant for professional applications and not audiophile ones is to DIY

you can get 1:1 line transformers from eastern europe for as little as $60/pr. IMO, they will have better sound character than Jensens. add a small case and some RCA/XLR jacks for maybe $30. you will have something much better for $100 than the Jensen.

    example http://audioalt.ru/product.php?product=2520&cat=97

just a suggestion! of course Jensen sells their own line transformers separately from the isolator boxes but these will be $140/pr, not really worth it.

I don't doubt it, the issue for people like my self comes down to time! So it would be cool to see some one with more time and experience who may be able to build one of these.
