These posts reminded me that I want to replace some of my power cords with shorter versions to clean up the wiring mess.

Monoprice has heavy gauge power cords in 1, 2, and 3 ft lengths. These are 14AWG which is thicker gauge than the hospital versions.

Not currently on sale, but they don't need it at $1.39 for 1 ft cord ($1.99/ 2 ft; $2.49/ 3 ft). I'll be able to clean up some cords that are now coiled up because they are too long.

Yeah geez that was quick! Still some 18AWG 6ft ones available for $6.10 shipped, about in line with ones from monoprice when you factor in shipping + tax.

For me in Florida at any rate, no sales tax from Newegg which helps.

For those interested, they won't ship that one to Europe.

Follow-up: It worked for me after my monthly subscription expired.

    Summary:
    1. I purchased a Best Buy $100/year Tidal HiFi subscription, but discovered that I couldn't apply it to my current Tidal account (see my quoted post). The Best Buy subscription must be used with a new or inactive Tidal account.
    2. I canceled my existing $20/month subscription, but it remained active until my next monthly renewal date (I had to wait a couple of weeks).
    3. On the renewal date, Tidal sent me an email saying that my membership was now canceled.
    4. I used the Best Buy activation code with my (now canceled) Tidal account. It worked, and my favorites and playlists were unaffected.
    5. Tidal said they would send me a confirmation email. I never received it, but when I looked at my account it said it was now under the Best Buy subscription.

Nice move! I gotta say I've been really happy with Soundizz to transfer playlists between accounts (works with most services),which is what I used between my Tidal accounts. It's also great just to export artists/tracks/playlists if I want to use excel/sheets to move things around and manage the list - then you reimport and things are tidied up. Great cheap way to manage accounts and playlists if you have a lot of them like I do, especially across multiple services.

I just learned of this today through a random Facebook comment, but Focal is offering $1,000 off the Focal Arche DAC/amp combo (regularly $2,499) for existing users of the Utopia, Stellia and Clear headphones: https://www.focal.com/en/exceptiona...ombination-with-your-high-fidelity-headphones. Valid through end of 2020.

I don’t have experience with the unit, but looks like @Torq reviewed over at headphone.com: https://www.headphones.com/blogs/news/focal-arche-dac-amp-review-episodic-soc. Made for Focal by Micromega. Class A output up to 2W. Built-in stand. Custom output settings designed for Focal headphones and apparently has a synergistic rich sound. Preouts as well for your Solo6 Be monitors. ;)
