Hey @E_Schaaf I can recommend trying to remove the white permanent filter sticker on the pads. The removal helps to even out the response (at least to my ears) Not sure if is reducing the bass, or increasing the mids/highs but I feel it is an immediate improvement to the sound.

The sticker can easily be replaced, but honestly, Campfire Audio has the best aftermarket pad prices I have yet seen. not sure how they can provide such a high quality product at a reasonable cost, especially when you consider some of the exorbitant rates that other companies charge.

I'm a big fan of the Cascade..I tried all the pads myself but ultimately kept the stock ones. The large ones turned out to be not necessary, and the fabric ones I wanted to like but the material was a little scratchy - my only complaint.

    I agree.

Although the best comfort improvement i made was bending the headband. I made it more of an inverted v-shape ala ZMF, and it made a big improvement.

The downside of the bent headband is i purchased the xl pads which i do not really need anymore. Also side affect is now I wear the headphones on the smallest headband setting ( no extension at all)

I wear glasses so they felt pads did not make much of a difference overall... but i would love to see a thinker microfiber variant (@KenBall )

    Hi @KenBall,

Just received the cascade and it has some serious quality control issues:
    1. Unit didn't come with all the tuning filters(box came with 2 pair as supposed to 4 (UPDATE: Unit only comes with 2 pair as confirmed by support)
    2. Improper sealing on left side protective cover(see pics). I'm afraid on long run, dust and hair might pass underneath and possibly compromise the driver.

This isn't the Campfire Audio support page I don't think. Have you tried checking their website and looking for their contact information? [email protected]

You're welcome. Hope they get you all sorted out. Ken Ball does care about his customers and making things right. I've never seen them do otherwise. Things happen.

The new setup only comes with two tuning pads per campfire.
