I don't know if I could live with that look! It Reminds me of some chocolate desert that's melted on a hot summers day! I'm not sure the benefits for audio is worth the cost to make it. Maybe it allows the designer to create thicker walls as well to improve vibration damping.

Those cabinets look like they are made in layers. Think of glorified plywood, and if the interior has no parallel or perpendicular surfaces....?.?.?

I believe they are the home version of the Altec “voice of the theater” series. Two huge horns in furniture grade cabinets....

Yeah, it did say they were the A7, so bassically an A7 in a nice cabinet with horn enclosed.

This is a very interesting speaker, specially the beveled baffle. Practically all OB speakers have a flat MDF baffle, this one goes the extra mile with a 3 inch thick baltic birch beveled baffle, similar to what Avalon does. This baffle shape should reduce diffraction very effectively, plus it provides a proper, strong support for mounting the drivers being that thick. I also really like how they took advantage of the thickness to hide the cables, very nice little detail.

Of course, price is nuts, but this shouldn't be a nightmare to DIY, or at least something that wouldn't give a headache to a competent carpenter.
Btw, I'm not the biggest fan of the dual 12 inch woofers transitioning to the 4 inch Scanspeak midrange...I would put a 15' woofer and 8' mid (or 6.5 mid but with a 15' woofer that can be crossed to around 300-400hz without major issues).

Anyway, very smart and gorgeous design :)

That's THE listening room, next level stuff for sure.
I'm sure you'll want to check this, David Karmeli (he builds and sells the AS-2000 turntable) visited that system and reported here:
    https://www.whatsbestforum.com/threads/exotic-horns-tubes-moryiama-machida-style.23553/

That's the stuff dreams are made of, the speakers are built from " single solid piece of centuries old African wood which took him over a decade to finish." Drivers are unobtanium Sony woofers and Sony compression drivers, all with Alnico magnets.

    Just lovely, true audio porn!

I used to work for a company who made these. Due to the plague we had to scale our operation down to just the skeleton crew, so I had to go.

The amp pack produces 5250W per side. Filtering and conversion is external and done in a rack unit. Amps are Hypex nCore.

There's still a pair in Chris Lord-Alge's studio in LA, if you want to listen to them.

Here's how they measured there. It's a big live-room, so we had to keep the LF a bit tamed.

The most spectacular thing was the step response.

    upload_2020-11-2_13-58-35.png

I spent about a day there with the guy in the first images, he's the chief acoustician. As you can see in the step response, the back-wave from the OB is perfectly integrated. Also I was surprised to see how down to earth CLA was in person. Previously I wasn't too fond of him due to all of the marketing stuff he does, but the guy has impeccable work ethic and his team was an absolute blast to work with.

I would have anticipated all sorts of nulls and peaks from the quad bass unit, amazing at how well integrated it is. Must have been a great experience being part of the team thg that developed them..dB

The coherence between the bass cab and the point-source array is very good. In the step response you can't distinguish between them. The top "flower" actually goes down to 30Hz on its own, but it needs the bass cab for extra headroom. The DSP can be switched to mute the bass cab and listen only if one needs it. Otherwise the crossover is around a couple of hundred hertz. Both crossover points and slopes are tailored to the room the system finds itself in and SPL requirements.

It was a great learning experience. Before that I was pretty strict measurement nazi thinking that Neumann and Genelec are god's gift to earth. Now I still respect measurements, but I'm more conscious about the things they don't show.

Encountered this on the website of a design studio who was responsible for the logo, packaging, identity, etc.

Bet that sounds like ass, lol.

Right next to a boundary = tons of reflections. Extra long cabinet likely equals all sorts of funky HF filtering going on. I could be wrong, but given how it looks... nah.

One side is boundary wall with diffusing bookcases, the other looks like curtains (absorption) in front of glass, and no visible cables. I'd say its pure manufacturers staging.

What are the shiny coolers on the floor (again with no cables) ? Amps? Subs?

EDIT: Per @Brian D 's input below I see they're mono amps. Once amps get that big they become white elephants IMO.

“My expensive Burmester speakers sound like crap.”
“Have you tried toeing them in a bit?”
    “I can’t. I’d have to move a wall”

Yeah, that Burmeister is quite odd. I'll balance it out with this greatness
