I recently purchased an EC Aficionado here linked in this thread: https://www.superbestaudiofriends.o...-eddie-current-aficionado-tube-bundles.10378/

The photos might be better to view in that thread since they are of higher quality than mine. I have had the amp for about a monthish, and while I have been wanting to love it, it just hasn't been what I was looking for and I don't really use it that much. I am looking to give it back to the family for slightly less than I bought it for + shipping.

As stated in the previous FS thread, this amp has the feedback mod switch on the front. I would rate this amp at a 9/10 condition, although as the original owner stated it probably could be a 10/10 for condition.

It will be shipped in 2 boxes, in quite robust original packaging. Included are the
    • Chinese random 5AR4 rectifier (Minor use)
    • Electro Harmonix “Gold” 2A3s (Minor use)
    • GE JAN 5670 (Minor Use
    • Raytheon and National Union gray plate 2A3s (Used about 100 hrs from original owner, used about 10 hours from me.)
I paid $2100 + Shipping for this amp, I am looking to sell it for $2000 + shipping to Friends or known Contributors. For everyone else it will be priced at $2600 + shipping.

This will be shipping out of Maryland, I can get a shipping quote for you but will probably be in the range of $100-$200 dollars due to 2 boxes and size + weight.

Dear Purchaser of this great amp-

after a few weeks listening with the included tubes, please read the Aficionado thread where experienced owners can recommended better tubes at not insane prices.
    enjoy.

However be aware that these “not insane prices” may add another $850-$1000 at least to the cost of owning the amp. That being said, it is a great amp being offered at an excellent price since it has the feedback mod switch. I am even thinking about buying it again to go with the upcoming ETA headphone. Linlai E-2A3 = $460
    Mullard GZ34 = $100-150
    Western Electric 2c51 from 1950s = $75
    so maybe $685

Brent Jessee has capable Mullard GZ34s in the $150-$250 range, and I just got an WE 396A black plate from him for $50 that sounds good, although maybe not as good as the pricier Ericsson 396A that I got from him in 2019 for the other location's Af. Current tube complement on this Af cost around $900, but I could probably paid a bit less if I had not chosen to go with suppliers I know well. Other Af: ~$1000 again not shopping around.
