This GT-102 was built by Akitika, and has all the bells and whistles. The fully built cost from Akitika before the recent price increase was $580. The DC scrapper has been great, makes this dead quiet for nearfield use. I added the volume control to help manage a bit too much gain from my preamp. With volume control and DC scrapper this is really the perfect amp for desktop monitors for a streamlined setup.

I am selling this not because I did not like it, but because I liked it so much that I am having a buddy build another one with upgraded caps, wiring, terminals, etc.

Listed this up on US Audio Mart, so SBAF price drop. $375 for friends/contributors, $425 to everyone else, I will split shipping cost.

Ugh if I had $350 to spare I’d be all over this.

It really is an insane value, and something folks in the market for the Vidar for example should really consider. I kind of viewed it as a secondary system thing to try out as I was restless with my PrimaLuna and I wanted something solid state for running zoom meetings all day, but I quickly became enamored with it. Running a slightly modded Z4 version as my reference for my LS3/5A right now and it is not leaving me wanting at all. While I eventually will go back to tubes, I for sure plan on keeping my Akitika pre/amp stack for another system in the future.

BUMP and price drop to $300 for friends/contributors. Pains me to go that low (half what I paid just a couple of months ago), but would like to see this go before I move this month. Insane value at $300 here folks, great budget class A/B alternative to a Vidar for getting a 2 channel setup going. I especially loved this for jazz, horns/sax sounds incredible from this amp.

Still have the Akitika preamp available as well if you want to bundle the whole stack!
