    Hey,

    As you guys have seen in my last post, I will be in Saudi for the majority of the summer (May 15th- Aug 23rd). Due to this, I thought I would offer my BHA-1 for people to try. Of course, I would like this to friends I have interacted with only, with it being insured to 1100. It comes in the original box (DO NOT LOSE THIS PLEASE) and I can include a power cable if needed. Please read the manual as it requires some space around it so it doesn't overheat. If someone is interested please comment down.

    Loan time would be the time I am away for the summer divided by the amount of people signed up!

    P.S If there are not enough people interested I will instead ship it to Eudis to try it, but as this community helped me a lot with recommendations, info, and genuinely nice interactions on my profile it will be the first to get a chance.

    Ok, So I will be closing this now and Gonna go with the following:
    @bilboda (FL)
    @zonto (Boston, MA)
    @dasman66 (Pennsylvania)
    @Phantaminum (TX)
    @famish99 (TX)
    @Azimuth (Nashville, TN)
    @loadexfa (Bay Area, CA)
    @rhythmdevils (Bay Area, CA)

    This gives each person around a week to fiddle around with it. So basically what I want to do is start a "timer" as soon as it arrives at YMO's house and split the time between every member. Please DM me your information YMO, I won't be shipping now, but will prepare everything I need :)

    I have now realized that there would be an extra shipping fee which would be from me to the first person loaning this. How is it usually done? Do you split that amongst everyone on the loan tour?

    I think the first person just takes one for the team on the initial shipping charge.

    (I meant the owner of the item would pay to ship it out to whomever is first in line, in the spirit of being an awesome guy.)

    Quick heads up everyone, I will be closing this and collecting names and info by 5/5/21. This is to give me enough time to sort through the names and get ready to ship it and all.

    I think I am the only one who signed up so far. I would not mind keeping it that long and paying a rental fee of some kind, but I understand if I am the only one on the tour and no one really else is interested and keeping it safe at home.

    It would be much cooler if more signed up.

    I'll try it out if I can bribe MBS to give me millions.

    Yeah, I was probably gonna come up with an alternative tour where I split the time between you and eudis.

    Used prices on these are not quite as bad, and still not quite as bad as a ECP amp. It is one of the finest in SS amps, so I think it is worth checking out simply for that fact.

    Yeah, honestly I enjoy the BHA-1 with some of my warmer cans like the Australis, but until I get my Starlett by next year I will have to wait to decide if it would be my fav amp.

    Can you elaborate on the space requirement? Is a few inches above it sufficient if stacked on a DAC, or would it need to be on its own shelf, etc.? Any idea if it has good synergy with Focal Utopia?

    I think a couple of inches would be fine.

    And it is a warm amp, so I see it pairing well with Focals.

    Yeah just a few inches should be fine. It sounds great with my Utopia! Never listened to it with another amp though so not sure how it would fair with something else.
